Here's my photo from the PGA Championship this year. I was walking around on the Wednesday practice day and the crowd is stopped because of cross-traffic. I look over to my left and I see Marty waiting in the traffic with us. This was probably around 11am. The few people that did recognize him connected him to NASCAR and not college football.
Notice the Yeti bag at his feet, the new hat with the sticker still on the brim, and fresh Nikes with the suit.

Marty doesn't bother me that much because I just consider him a clown. Wright Thompson, with his over-wrought prose profoundly expressing his white guilt, is the one that just irks the shite out of me.

My guess: Because Tebow is a conservative Christian who will say things on air that are too overtly religious or traditional and wouldnt pander to SJW issues the way they want.

Marty is up there. Portnoy is #1 for me. Every time I hear that twangy Marty Smith I think he's commentating on NASCAR or something. He definitely doesn't fit in at ESPN. Maybe CMT, not ESPN
