He should be benched
I just cannot fathom that there are people who believe this. The Yankees starters cant even frickin hit but yeah let's start Trent Grisham in center instead of Judge. Goodness gracious this will be my last baseball discussion here

What is Judge contributing to his team hitting .140 in the postseason? I'll hang up and listen since clearly you're the baseball authority.

yankees have multiple guys throughout the lineup hitting below .200

You benching them all and only playing 5 in the field? Batting your bullpen to fill out your lineup?

I think he'd just field the AAA team for game 4 since the Yankees couldn't get it done games 1-3

He didn't strike out 3x in Game 3. He's making progress.

Made this comparison in the Game 1 thread. He might be even worse than Lamar under the bright lights.

He wears pinstripes, not racing stripes. He can't be Lamar until he shits himself in the dugout.

there are so many players like that in baseball.

Barry Bonds, Ted Williams, Ken Griffey Jr, Ty Cobb, Ichiro, Tony Gwynn, Mike Trout has like 3 Playoffs AB.

Somehow, some way this is the Astros' fault.

I wouldn't bench him but you seriously have to consider moving him down in lineup

Yeah, he might get relegated to the 8 or 9 hole if I'm coach. Worst case you have a shitty 9 hole hitter, best case he turns it around.

But you can't bench him.

but the rest of us watched 162 regular season games before that where he was the most valuable player in the league,

Doesn't matter how good you are in the regular season if you shite the bed in postseason. This isn't a new thing for him. Last ALCS for the Yankees (2022), Judge batted .063 on their way to being swept by the Astros. Currently he has .083 in this WS. Some players just rise to the occasion and it's just too big for others.

Judge needs to find a good sports psychologist during the off season and get to work.

i just hate this line if thinking

A bad three weeks doesn't erase what Judge did this year. Tommy Edman is not more valuable than Aaron Judge

I had to watch Barry Bonds and Bobby B do the same thing with the Pirates. Like a switch just turned off!!
