Is Aaron Judge becoming the Lamar Jackson of baseball?

All-time transcendent talent who's clearly the second best player in his sport that always sabotages his team's ability to win in the playoffs every year. A player of Judge's ability having a career postseason batting average under .200 is insane. And it's not based on a small sample size either. He's had 250 plate appearances in the postseason!

He’s fricking terrible.
If Boone had any balls he would have benched his arse.

I kept saying he disappears in the post season.

Give me one George Brett vs nine Aaron Judges.

Hes been shite in the playoffs his whole career. I wouldn't bench him but you seriously have to consider moving him down in lineup

Cashman took a shot at Astros and Yankees about to get swept out of World Series

Exactly. He is so good in low-pressure regular season moments and just a total norhing in the postseason.
It’s hard to compare it to a football player. I’d like to know if another baseball player of this caliber has had such a huge disparity between regular and postseason performance. Was A-Rod this bad?

His postseason numbers are bad. And this WS is beyond bad. He is no MVP right now.

quote:I know you probably just tuned in at the start of this postseason, but the rest of us watched 162 regular season games before that where he was the most valuable player in the league, thus saying he should be benched for a backup in the most important series of the year because he has had a rough month is indeed stupid.
His postseason numbers are bad. And this WS is beyond bad. He is no MVP right now.
Hope this helps
eta: I never argued he was having a good postseason. Just that it was stupid to say he belongs on the bench.

The weak “MVP” chants his first time up to bat I’m sure were well intentioned. But, they made his bad strikeout even worse.

I don't think Lamar's post season resume is even that bad!!
