The B1G is so arse this year, there’s a pretty good chance

At Northwestern is the hardest game left there

Penn St is the one with the easiest schedule. They just stink.

No Oregon, Indiana, or Ohio State.

Indiana and Iowa at least play Ohio State.

I don’t think they’ll get in at 10-2, and I don’t think they make it through that completely unscathed.

Except for Purdue, I can see them losing to any of those teams.

B1G’s middle and lower tiers are a dumpster fire.

B1G fans on here love downvoting me when I say that adding Rutgers and Maryland was a massive mistake because they’re both historically terrible programs and watered down the conference. B1G could actually have decent conference scheduling with 16 teams and using a similar scheduling format as the SEC went to

That’s what happens when you have an 18 team conference with the likes of Purdue, Maryland, Rutgers, Michigan State, and Northwestern (who is good this year) and teams like Washington, Michigan, Penn State, Wisconsin, and USC are down.

There are just so many bad teams in the B1G that it’s much easier to get a 1-3 game conference schedule.

They have played some absolute dog shite teams this year. LSU’s 2 Louisiana non-conference schools make their schedule look tough.

It was by design. It added two teams that are pretty much guaranteed wins for the middle and top of the league while the league offices get to beat their chest and point out how they play 9 conference games.

The SEC added Mizzou, aTm, Texas, and Oklahoma. Totally the same as adding Maryland, Rutgers, Washington, UCLA, USC, and Oregon.

Iowa might screw the SEC out of getting 5 playoff teams.

Seems like we heard this last year and then bowl games and the playoff happened.

I mean, yeah, it’s not that different. UW, UCLA, USC and Oregon are very similar to those four SEC teams. Yeah, Rutgers and Maryland haven’t been good.

They will lose at least two more games IMO.

@ Minnesota
Wisconsin
@ Northwestern
Nebraska

I think they go 2-2 here

It’s a pretty constant theme for sure lately.

SEC fans may be right but we don’t know in early October
