i'm just messing around. i really have no idea how he'd do in the SEC, but common logic would suggest he would not have the same stats.

I think most here would agree with that. I think he would still be successful and make plenty guys look like fools, just not as much as he does in the PAC 2. I really like watching him with the ball.

Mccaleb has 370 career carries and a 6.3 YPC. That's hardly a slight. Dude would be a monster in an offense like Oregon

The same way he was when they had Cam

Some people really do not realize how big Harvin is. I would imagine DAT would do perfectly fine but obviously he is not going to run all over Alabama and LSU. But he would probably have close to 300 yards rushing against us.

Depends how he was used. Nobody in the SEC runs Oregons offense.

Think we would be a factor, but not put up numbers like he does for the Ducks

Stop riding the coattails of a few defenses in the SEC.

Why does 3 great defenses = "THE SEC"? 3/4 of the SEC isn't awesome on defense!

Did UCLA get to claim they had an awesome offense by riding the coattails of USC/Oregon last decade by saying "how would Bama do against Pac 12 offfenses week in and week out?"

Yeah that Percy Harvin would have never made it in the SEC either.

So if someone fumbles it's because they are scared? He was a true freshman, sometimes young guys fumble the ball. They arent used to securing the football as well coming out of HS where no one could run with them.

Are you his agent or something? Just simply stated you forgot the fumbles. If you are going throw out his stats for the game throw them all out. You don't have to sell him to me, I think he is legit and would do well wherever he played.

Comparing Onterrio McCaleb to DAT.

Wow is all I can say, wow. There's not a faster, more athletic, more explosive player in college football than DAT. When is the last time someone said that about Onterrio fvcking McCaleb?

He'd put up video game numbers against Ole Miss, Vandy, Tenn, Auburn, Kentucky. He may struggle against USCe, LSU, UF, or Bama, but he'd probably be on 1 of those teams so he'd prob only go against 2-3 of them a year tops

I personally think he's a better Dexter Mccluster myself. A little undersized, but plays hard, has speed to burn, and has great moves

I was wondering how long before the McCluster comparison came up, because I definitely see that.

If he played for A&M, South Carolina, Ole Miss or State, I think he would do well. He would fit those offenses perfectly.

Percy Harvey.

Harvey might not have had quite the top end speed but maybe he is slightly more physical.

A Demps/Rainey cyborg might be the more apt comparison.

There are basically 4 teams in the 14 team SEC with elite level defenses. Alabama, LSU, Florida and South Carolina. That's it. It is not a week in week out grind that SECtards want to believe. Oregon and D'Anthony Thomas would do just fine vs the SEC.

what does that mean? What common logic? You guys take this stuff to illogical conclusions. The SEC is the best overall conference. It has MORE good programs. MORE good teams. MORE good players. Its not a conference of literal supermen.

Do you guys actually watch games? SEC teams often do well in bowls, but do they put up well above normal stats in those games? What did Cam Newton do against Clemson or Oregon? He had a pretty pedestrian game vs Clemson 68 yds rushing, but ran for 217 vs LSU. 151 vs UGA 188 vs Ark. Bama shut him down, only 39 yds. But most of the week in week in week out vs the SEC he was lighting teams up. What do you think he would have done in another conference? Why didn't he go for more vs Clemson and Oregon?

Good players will put up big stats regardless. Any differences would be slight. You do not have to play Alabama every week.
