Got some feedback from 3 different people that were NOT in the meeting but heard from others that were.

Basically a rah rah morale booster “Sasol is not for sell” type meeting. Felt like a trying to stop the bleeding attempt(lost a lot of people the last 6 months).

Do with the above rumors as you wish.

I don’t know what to believe on this one but as an earlier poster said the option volume is nothing and combined with the bad timing of the market makes this a wait and see for me.

Are you with WLK? I’m at corporate office and haven’t heard anything

Maybe, maybe not..

Not a good sign if true. I’ve heard rumors from both WL and Sasol folks. Both sides admitting they don’t know much more than there has been talks and visits. Still haven’t heard anything about “this meeting” from yesterday.
I agree. Option volume is near zero.

Also, I haven't heard anything about the meeting from yesterday. Rumors still flying across all levels within my company but nothing new.
Word around the plants is that there is a big meeting with the managers on their site today. Nobody knows about what, but the WL rumors are flying around town like crazy. For the record I do NOT know anything for a fact other than this meeting is happening or already has happened this afternoon.
I’ve been predicting this for years. I don’t condone it and I absolutely am a devout capitalist. However, the pay gap between workers and CEO types has gotten out of control. This type of reaction was inevitable and we’ll see how much it’s copied going forward. And no I don’t trust or want the government to come in and fix the situation. They won’t anyway because they are in bed with all these types.

The further I move up in my own career I’ve noticed that companies are bloated with upper management, consultants, and made up positions where the wanna be elites keep adding layers to create this illusion that they are important. Not all of these types are bad people, but there is a much more skewed ratio towards self interested narcissists the higher up the ladder.

Absolutely we want to get to that game. We could play our best game ever and win a SEC title. Regardless how bad we are, we should root to get to the Championship game

Thank you good sir. Tired of hearing these pussies, who are afraid of their own shadow, wanting to avoid playing in an SEC championship for a playoff bid because they are afraid of a potential blowout. I miss the old school fan’s mindset that loved being the underdog and playing spoiler. If we don’t dominate every single minute fans lose their minds and want to quit on the season. It’s almost always the people that are terrible at their own jobs, sucked at high school sports, and play point the blame at others for all their problems…

Skip the SEC Championship…. lol wtf people…

I’m not as hard on accents ever since I’ve seen a few people I grew up with make it on TV. Their accent sounded so exaggerated nobody could believe it. They can’t even stand to watch replays of their episodes lol. I wouldn’t have considered any of their accents strong either.

I watched a recorded session of the Cameron Parish Police juror meeting recently. I understand it’s Cameron parish but I’m around these people everyday and go fishing down there often. I damn near needed subtitles to follow what some of them were saying.

Maybe recording doesn’t do accents justice? Or people don’t realize how they really sound? No idea but something I’ve noticed…

My schedule was recently changed to where the best time to work out will be first thing in the morning. I came up with Greyskull as my base followed up with the cardio section from Brickhouse.

I keep seeing people referencing Grasshopper and am wondering if this might be the better route. The goal is a program that doesn't exceed an hour (closer to ~45 mins) and keeps a rest day in between sessions with the rare exceptions.

Anyone have any thoughts? Thanks!
Is getting Oak Tree Remastered worth it? I have Oak Tree already but I love what he did with Benchamin Franklin 2 which got me thinking about the Remastered version for Oak Tree. If anyone has run both would be awesome to hear your thoughts!

W1D1 of pump city done today

Same! I started this one over today due to the December freeze bringing our plant into an unplanned turnaround. I really recommend Pump City for shift workers due to its flexibility.
People have such short memories due to insecurity and panic. This year was always going to be either shite or we won some close games due to luck. Which it’s been a bit of both.

We have no depth and everyone, not just the transfers/freshman, are learning a new system. That’s not to say there haven’t been some major disappointments like our WRs and special teams. But for fricks sake everyone needs to scroll out and be patient. Quit talking in absolutes and let the season develop. Teams are allowed to develop and sometimes regression is a part of the growth.

Running and lack of turnovers.

Last night was clearly his worst game at LSU. Prior to that he had been unspectacular but solid.

Which qb would you rather. Jayden Daniels vs auburn or nuss vs southern

This... Its a rebuilding year and we need to avoid the mega disaster. Nuss is overwhelmed, you can see it all over him. Anyone that has competed in anything past JV can see he doesn't have it yet.

Building a culture and system takes time and I believe we are ahead of schedule and just need to be patient. The slow starts are annoying but the adjustments have been awesome to see. Eventually this team will start playing more instinctive out of the gate once they get more comfortable. Hopefully anyway ....

Pool Season 2 is my favorite so far. I thought 1 lacked a bit in lower body variety. I still love 1, but 2 was perfectly tweaked IMO.
Furnace tubes are 15-18 months out no matter the location or what you’re willing to spend.

You’re completely wrong. The perception around the country is that this is at worst a top 10 job. Most people know Miles and O are morons which is why they were shown the door. They also realize if those two can win titles here, just about anyone can. There’s very few schools across the country that possess the advantages LSU provides a coach.

This. I’ll add to that with people that comment with “who would take the LSU job when the last 2 coaches have been fired” are giant pussies and have probably never competed in anything. They are also the same people that can’t believe our players can’t perform perfectly every single play. These same people cover both sides of the spectrum with zero awareness of what it takes to compete/perform at a level above Pee Wee…
The situation has been remedied. Hopefully nobody gives a shite…. Never mind it’s the rant.

The big thing I recommend for which ever one you go with is to make sure you crush your sleep as hard as your workouts. I barely made ithrough Elbow Meat and The Mullet because my shift schedule got hectic/overloaded at work. My sleep went from 7-8 hours consistently to 4-6 towards the end of both workouts. It absolutely crushed me. Terrible muscle soreness and minor aches in joints. These programs are POTENT, so eat and sleep as hard as you workout. I’m currently running Oak Tree because it seems like the most flexible for someone with my type of schedule.

What happened to the other thread? Sorry if that’s already been explained I rarely get on now a days.
Depends on the plant… my old plant absolutely. A lot of it was field gauges and manual operation. An honest round was necessary for product spec. At my new plant everything is run from the console basically. A field round is just for triple or quadruple verification against in house indicators. I could care less if those could pencil whipped, I care more about when it’s nut cutting time and they can do something quickly and safely.
