So I have a new Lenovo, when I hit ctrl + fn the voice assistant comes up (first it was the Lenovo voice assistant now it’s Cortana once I deleted the Lenovo one). How do I disable this? It’s a pain because I have to hit ctrl + fn to change tabs in excel..

Pebble beach car show

Posted by reb13 on 5/30/22 at 7:59 pm
I am going to be in the area during the time of the car show this year, anyone have any recommendations on how to plan for it? I see there is a one day ticket for Sunday but any other events or things I should be on the lookout for during that week?

1. Buy a dukes club membership (discount rates on SB and spyglass)
2. Cancel your room at pebble
3. Book a room at La playa
4. Book your rounds at SB and spyglass (30 days out)
5. Have 36 booked all three days and call the day before for pebble and just cancel the rounds you don’t want

I just saved you $4k
I am married in to this rivalry (wife went to Carolina) but this feels like Ole Miss beat Nick Saban in his last game at Alabama.

That’s what I don’t get, I keep seeing “cash offer” but I’m guessing it’s not someone buying a house with 300k they just had laying around.

They aren’t usually all cash offers, it typically just means no financing contingency (I.e. you can’t back out if you can get financing). Now if the offer is “cash” and close in less than 30 days it might actually be all cash. Which agreed, is absurd.

I’m surprised you were even able to get ahold of that guy to book anything.
Yeah. I don’t think they have a single camera on spyglass. They also show way too much MP.

The thing where when you get a code text to you it fills the form with it.
I play tenison all of the time, they must take a course in idiocy. The one that always gets me (among many) is how they are always like we need the carts back at 5. Oh you mean 45 min before sundown?? They are such a pain

Trying to tell my wife that as I put my name down for a new Daytona!

Zero restriction has 30% off right now, that’s where I’d look.
Why does dusty baker wear a mask and then not? And then wear gloves?
Anyone watching the Wisc/ND game? These teams suck

If you can spell the word accounting you can get more than that. ALL professional services firms big and small are struggling to find people.

Press and charter oak are good ones I’ve been to recently.

Unfortunately the restrictions might not be bad but we’ve stopped going during crush because of fires.

I typically estimate $120 plus benefits.

La playa Carmel is sometimes around $300/night but if not any of those small hotels in town are good.

The only restaurant with a view in Carmel by the sea is mission ranch which is just fine but some people love it so it’s worth a shot. Others I would recommend

Pangea (Asian fusion)
Portabella
Cultura (Mexican)
Il tegamino (Italian)
Stationary
The bicycle
The Pocket
Tap room (@ pebble, best chili)
The bench (@ pebble, on 18)
Stillwater (@ pebble, on 18 - more expensive)
Fire pits at Spanish bay (get there early)

I’ve never done the two really high end restaurants (7th and Dolores and aubergine) but have heard good things.

I recommend the cape. Bad arse rooftop bar, great mix of people, and 10 min from the marina area (you may not even want to leave).

Oklahoma state’s is usually on the top 100 you can play lists.

This is the actual answer. When I looked it had to go below $40 or something insane for it to make money.

My favorite now.
Looks fake, I’ll take it off your hands.
Was there a few weeks ago for the first time. Stayed at the cape so skewed towards that area.

Go to el huerto for dinner, it’s incredible.
We took Uber’s (we made the hotel let them in) it was $4 vs $20.
Ediths was great.
We did glass bottom kayaking and snorkeling by the arch - it was a lot of fun and I’m sure more seasoned people would say touristy but it was a small group and just fun to break up the day.
Went to Cabo before Christmas. Incredible, don’t cancel.

How much does a track man setup run you? Thinking $20-25?
