As a man of 1/4 Roman stock, it would be seriously considered. Possibly the only honorable path forward.

There was a Hellcat Durango that was towed off the scene with Rugg’s Corvette. He probably had people with him at Top Golf that were included in the 18 shots and were following him back to his house.

as a Vegas local, going 156 MPH is crazy enough, but the area the crash happened is a very residential part of town with stoplights every half mile or so, the fact he was able to get that fast in that part of town is certifiably insane.

Yeah, Rainbow and Spring Valley might be 45 mph speed limit, maybe 55 at most. Tons of lights too.

Sounds like they were hammered and drag racing to me.

David Carr in damage control mode

I’ll try this again, my apologies if the last tweet sounded incentive, I just can’t imagine another team having to deal with so much off the field.

It obviously hits a little to close to home for a brother.

NFL fans didn’t think this tweet from Carr was much of an improvement from the first one.

I don’t know. What’s your BAC when you black out and finally stop beating your wife?

It's Friday night. You've got your crew and rolls of cash.
Need a ride to the new club on the west side of town?
Just call the 1-800 number on the back of your NFL player I.D. card. The NFL Players Association will provide a chauffeured car to take you wherever and whenever -- that's 24/7/365 -- you need to go.
"It's a great service," said Shaun Smith, a defensive lineman who has played for seven teams, including the Bengals, Browns, Chiefs and Titans. "Guys just need to take advantage of it."
The Player Transportation Link (PTL), which has been around since 2011, provides this car service to any current or former NFL player. The latter group has called 131 times (not including April or May totals) and accounts for about 8 percent of all rides.
The confidential NFLPA program -- provided in cooperation with its vendor, Corporate Security Solutions, Inc. -- offers a ride anywhere in the United States or Canada.

I read that the players do not want the NFL to know where they are at, who they with, and what time they leave. I guess they think the NFL is spying. Stupid not to take advantage of that service, though.

Former #Raiders WR Henry Ruggs is accused of driving 156 mph seconds before the crash. He was at 127mph when airbags deployed. His blood alcohol level was .161, which is more than twice the legal limit. A loaded gun was also found in the car.

frick this guy fr. Yesterday I was joking with a coworker that I won't even drop him off my fantasy team, cuz he'll probably be back playing by the end of the year.

I don't know if this story could be any more damning for him. frick him. Talented as hell with a bright future in the NFL. But his dumbass decisions killed someone. He will never pick up a football for the rest of his life. Enjoy prison shithead.

At the time of the crash his BAC was probably closer .200 since I assume he probably wasnt tested until he got to the hospital.

On the SNBation Raiders site a couple people are saying witnesses said the girl could be heard screaming as her car caught on fire. I cannot imagine a worse way to die.
No way he doesnt get the max due to enormous pain and suffering he caused. Such a horrific story for all involved.

A bystander, Alexander Hart, rushed to help and according to the police report, when he arrived, he heard screams coming from the Toyota.

The driver was still alive, he told the police but he couldn’t pull her out, because she was pinned inside the SUV.

The Toyota “was soon overcome with smoke and heat from flames,” and Hart had to back away, according to the report.
