They beat LSU and a shite Florida team. Thats what they are pounding their chest about. Just having Louisville in the conference championship shows how trash the ACC is.

While this is true, you can’t help but feel bad for them to a degree. They recognized the ACC was weak and chose to schedule LSU to help with that. That’s respectable. They didn’t run from competition.
So it’s not like they didn’t try. LSU sucked and the ACC was too weak (no control over that) at the end of the day.

So take all of the transitive games out of the equation (Bama lucked out vs an Auburn team that lsu hammered), how is this system any less of a beauty contest than the system it replaced? Undefeated, conf champ beat everyone in front of them, however they needed to, and gets left out…it’s kinda disgusting.
But it’s all about everyone’s opinions, not an actual playoff. So I guess the system worked
