This is Rafer Alston's kid.

Skip to my Lou from the and1 mistakes. Also played in the league for many yrs.

Super kid. Great player. My kid played on the team this year with him. Cooz Elite 17U. They were back to back PUMA Pro16 National Champions. They fell short of the 3 peat this year. It was a fun ride for sure.

I don’t see LSU signing too many high school guys, unless they are top 100ish in the country…

Wade wants grown men playing for him, not 18-19,y year olds

This is my thoughts also. The landscape has changed. If you're not a one and done type player out of high school, I don't think Wade will pursue you. At least not until he rights this ship. JMO

His 2025 stats weren’t significantly better. He averaged 232 passing yards per game on a 60.7% completion rating. He averaged 43 rushing yards per game. His QB rating was 129.2 and he had a passer rating under 150 in all 7 games he played.

Would you AGREE or DISAGREE that he will be in a more quarterback friendly offense?

What are your thoughts on Irwin, Will Nelson, and Christian Clair

Trying to get this thread back on track

After seeing all these players play, this is my opinion:

Irwin-He overpowers the kids at his position in the state, physically strong, needs to improve his ballhandling, needs more consistency with his shot, very athletic. Mid-Major D1 prospect at this time IMO.

Will Nelson-Saw him play alot at Madison Prep before he transferred to a Prep school in Memphis. Very humble kid, needs to get physically stronger, he's explosive off the jump, needs more consistency in his mid-range jumper. Note: this is what I saw before he transferred out from Madison Prep. Mid-Major D1 prospect at this time with the ability to move up to the High-Major category. Gained valuable experience with Team USA tryouts last 2 years.

Chrisitan Clair-Out of the 3 mentioned, he is more polished, more ready to contribute to a college team. Definitely Mid to High Major prospect.

If there was one team I had to pick with the chance to beat ‘19 LSU it would be them. No other team comes close.

Who's guarding Chase, Jefferson, Marshall, Moss and Clyde?

And he is seriously considering NEBRASKA???? Make it make sense.

People forget Stingley had one good season at LSU.

But that ONE season was GREAT. If you just go by skill set, Stingley and Peterson are a cut above.

People with certain bias’ are going to be shitting on LSU and state leadership all season going forward because of everything.

They hate:
Jeff Landry
LSU paying $60m+ to get rid of Brian Kelly and staff
Lane Kiffin for leaving a feel good story for LSU.
LSU supposedly having a $40m roster, even though other established teams spent more.

And don't forget the Return of Will Wade.
The question is “why is he SEEKING attention”. Are these kids these days so dependent on how many clicks they get? Geez.

If (and I doubt) he chooses NEBRASKA over LSU, then I would question his sanity.
While they are good. They are NOT at that level.

2019 was supposed to be a turning point for LSU. LSU fans convinced themselves LSU was going to be dynastic. And then just one year later it was back to the same old same old.

And yet ALL the so called experts will compare OTHER teams to that 2019 LSU team. Why do you think that's so? I have not heard not ONE expert compare the champions to the 2020 Bama team. I rest my case.

CEO torpedoed himself by his lack of situational awareness doing that time.

Cleveland didn't even let any other teams know they were dealing Garrett. Does anyone else find that suspicious?

What other team had a young DL star that they were willing to give up? No other team would have been willing to part ways with a Jared Verse type player.

I don’t know, but he’s the best rookie qb I have ever seen and it’s not close

Did you miss Jayden Daniels rookie season? Or are you strictly talking about best rookie season in saints history you've ever seen?

Why shouldn't he celebrate??

He can celebrate. Just after the finish line.

Well if that's the rule, then he shouldn't have gotten a warning the FIRST time as he clearly finished his race.

No, it’s easy for me to say that because if you look at crime stats, I wonder what the disparity is between young black males committing crimes versus the Kkk

come on bro be smarter

Well the KKK definitely has had a significant head start on committing crimes for sure. And make no mistake about it, they are still here, instead of the hoods and robes, they wear suits and ties now.

What was it like, 8 or 10 family members in sheets. Watch out for them white supremacy guys

Well it was 8 of them for sure. Now once we arrived to the stadium, while warming up, some fans made a point to run to our side of the field and call us the "N" word from some grown arse adults.

I've lived in Southern La my whole life, never even heard of anyone meeting or seeing a Klan member.

Don't know how old you are, but I've seen the KKK right there in Denham Springs. White Robe and all. Of course this was in the 70's. My high school team played at Denham Springs. We were in the same district. That was my first experience seeing the Klan.
