Happened 6 times this weekend. Absurd. There were 0 games actually worthy of it.

Don’t punish opposing players for taking out some fans in order to “defend” themselves. Might would have a few of them thinking twice before running onto the field.

It’s one of the last things left that is uniquely college football

Although I guess people wanted NFL light. So take that away too.

ASU had their worst two seasons since World War 2 back to back, has had the NCAA all over them, and just beat the conference leader to put themselves in the drivers seat.

They're gonna rush the field. Just because it wasn't against #1 or #2 or whatever doesn't mean people can't have fun and be excited.

They look like a hoard of zombies running out there with one arm raised, holding a phone, so they can get their IG moment. It's a pathetic look. I go to the gym super early, like around 2:30am, and I regularly see people in there at that hour with their phones on a tripod and they are live streaming their workouts, having conversations with viewers etc. It's pretty strange.

Put up fences and people will likely die. Almost happened at Camp Randall once with numerous people seriously injured. They changed the fences after that

At the Az St game, I don't recall seeing any security out there. I know at UF the entire perimeter of the field is lined with LE people. Back in 97 when FSU was ranked #1 and came to town, UF won and some people tried to rush the field and LE was steady tackling and putting zip ties on people, that shut things down pretty quickly.

This has actually happened. Google Hillsborough Disaster. 1989, Liverpool vs Nottingham Forest. 97 fatalities and 766 injuries.

Was there for both nights. When we rushed the field vs OM in 2014, I looked at my dad as we were walking on and said WTF are we doing.

Simple. Make the fines higher. Add more security.

You never see it in the NFL. Follow their model

Only way to stop it is to line the military around the field and order them to shoot if someone comes on the field

I mean yeah but you can’t compare college crowds to NFL crowds

NFL crowds are much trashier on average.

I don’t see it as a big deal to rush the field. It’s a unique thing to college sports, not everyone wants a sanitized product that is NFL jr.
