Yeah the embarrassing stuff about getting his butt played with and messing with a masseuse when he's in a relationship.
That is why the first girl and her "business manager"

No one really knows but this whole situation stinks to high hell.
First off, the first plaintiff and Buzbee sought out a 6 figure settlement from Watson to start. Then after being rebuffed, Buzzbee files a civil lawsuit claiming only looking for “minimal” damages and compensation. In the meantime he goes on social media asking for more women to come to him with similar experiences with Watson.
I love no one seems to want to question any of this and instead buy completely that because r number of cases filed is high, it makes anything true.
It may be true entirely but is just as likely entirely false.
Second, he is supposedly a neighbor of the McNairs and associated with him. Of course, no way the Texans could be stupid enough to sabotage their own trade value for Watson, right? Enter the POS Jack Easterby that has almost single handedly torpedoed the franchise and can’t seem to be fired because the McNairs love him.
If anything, Easterby and Buzbee being in cahoots is as likely as anything trying to get revenge on Watson.
That’s why this story is so freaking ridiculous on all sides.

f they can establish that the woman on the phone was one of the plaintiffs, they can absolutely call the guy to the stand to talk about the conversation he had with her.
That’s the crux. If they had a recording or could some way back up what this marketing guy is saying, they may be on to something as a legit defense. If not, it’ll just be noise.

buzbee was Bob McNair’s neighbor in River Oaks, Bob is dead and his son Cal took over
if Easterby is behind this and he helped tank the value of the single biggest asset the team has, then he should be fired
my take on the girls is some of them are licensed and they have very specific and detailed stories for alleged insta-thots

Rumors are that Easterby is close with Bob’s widow which would fit this theory. Cal is a moron, and Easterby still bent in the organization is mind boggling to anyone with common sense even before this mess.
Being a licensed masseuse doesn’t mean squat. It doesn’t take that much to get licensed in that. It’s like when people get certified as personal trainer. It’s easy to do and carries weight often when it shouldn’t.
In the end, I could see this being true in either facet, but the story doesn’t add up when you have Buzbee contradicting the intentions of the plaintiff (already asking for a 6 figure settlement and then saying it’s not about money.) Buzbee recruiting victims on social media is pretty shady too.
Watson could be a complete perv, but the other scenario is just as likely.

Hmmm, let’s see, extort a multi-millionaire who just signed a contract over $100 million for a measly $30K?
Right lol

Usually when this stuff happens in the nfl. It happened in college. I mean it just doesn’t start, always warning signs.. Of coarse that’s if he really did this stuff..

One of 14 Plaintiffs may have a shaky story? You think that’s compelling?

Gonna need a little more proof than that. Especially if there’s truth to the texts which I guess would need phone record corroboration.

His lawyer thinks this helps?
Posted on 3/24/21 at 9:02 am to RLDSC FAN
Watson’s attorney basically confirmed that he had a sexual relationship with the one accuser that allegedly blackmailed him, calling it a consensual relationship.
Watson’s attorney’s statement today also never once denied that he booked over 20 different masseuses in the past year. And those are just the accusers.
What athlete seeks out this many different female therapists unless he had bad intentions? This is ugly any way you slice it.

Don't you just love the balanced and unbias MSB?
When Kraft is caught getting happy endings he is championed, celebrated and labeled a victim; heck some of you guys told your own stories.
When Watson gets caught he is a pervert, a criminal and you want to see him destroyed.
How do you not know the difference between consent and sexual assault?

No it’s not hearsay. He’s recounting direct conversations he had with the individuals.

Did the Texans front office know about this?
what's worse not knowing or knowing and not trading him to he Jets a month ago.

If this is true the conspiracy is easily discovered and this story goes away. That is...if it's true.

Checking in to acknowledge the posters who have offered a more nuanced view of the hearsay stuff. I had the facts/ players a bit muddled in my head. I'll read more carefully next time.
This is my next question. It's typical to send a demand letter to somebody threatening a lawsuit if they don't take a certain action, eg. pay a certain sum. Isn't that pretty much what (allegedly) happened here? They threatened to disclose plaintiffs' claims to the public (which would happen anyway when she files suit) unless Watson paid a settlement. Seems like more of an accepted practice than it does blackmail.

Pre-litigation (just negotiation) for a claim can take months or over a year depending on the state. It’s easier on the client and costs a whole lot less than litigation.
