Dennis Eckersley's daughter, charged after giving birth in the woods & abandoned the baby

They said the mother, 26-year-old Alexandra Eckersley, had told them to head to a particular location where she had given birth in a tent, however emergency personal searched the area frantically for about an hour to no avail.
“The search was difficult. It was dark, we had cold temperatures—about 18 degrees last night and we were not getting accurate information,” Manchester Fire District Chief John Starr said, according to local news outlet WCVB.
Police say Eckersley eventually revealed the right location, and officers found the baby boy alone in a tent suffering from hypothermia.

There was a teen in the news a few years back (on 48 Hours) who gave birth at home and buried the baby in the backyard.
She allegedly killed the baby and never told anyone she was pregnant.
Prosecutors charged her with murder, defense claimed the baby was stillborn.
She was acquitted because the State couldn't prove she suffocated the baby.
BTW, stuff like this happens all the time in China if a couple has a baby girl. They want a son. 1 child per family.

That baby was closer to death than it will ever realize. I’m glad someone saved it. It’s a relief.
