I've learned from this board that the Lakers are associated with "clapping back"

So has it yet been pointed out that Hurley just clapped back? Am I doing this right? Do people still say this?

Celtics have one title since 86.

Lakers have eight in that same time frame.

Unless you are over 50, you haven't witnessed a lot of Celtics success.

It really wasn't a big risk.

Best case scenario he wins in LA and becomes a big name at the highest level of basketball. Like it or not, the Lakers still move the needle more than any other franchise in the NBA.

If it didn't work out he would still have several college teams desperate to hire him. Likely not UConn. But it's not like he couldn't have success elsewhere.

UConn, or Lebron, Bronny, and the Lakers clown show? Pretty easy choice to me.

I thought Alabama coach has the Douche part won in College Basketball by a long mile. There are lot of nuetral fans that like Hurley and I don't think you can say that about Nate Oats

Gotta say, “y’all won a finals game!” Is pretty weak mud to sling in this

It's like celebrating how shitting on yourself at work stole the spotlight a co-worker was getting on their birthday.

The roster is pretty good. You have two All NBA players

If the roster is pretty good, and LeBron and AD are both truly top 15 players, then why did they only win 47 regular season games? Surely a “pretty good” roster with 2 all nba players can win more than that.

ETA: did they not care about the regular season? Only cared about the playoffs?

Even with the onset of NIL, I find that hard to believe. Especially coaching one of the best ever that wants to play with his son before retirement.

Wait, that would've only made him the 6th highest paid coach.

NBA coaches....

There's no reason to pay NBA coaches that much. Babe Ruth made 10x his manager, double the President. Magic made 10x Pat Riley. They're not building an Empire, A Dynasty.....no recruiting, they have GMs and try to coach NBA players that don't really give a shite what they say. There's 5 guys on the court. This isn't football.
