I tried to deny it for as long as I could but tonight broke the camels back. He’s not a Super Bowl caliber qb

He deserves to play with a great coach and playcaller before we say he's not great

If Dak is “barely NFL caliber”, that means only about 6 NFL QB’s are NFL caliber by your standards. You Cowboys fans need to grow up. Your issue is mostly Jerry and McCarthy, not your 4th rd pick QB that is dragging your sorry arses to relevancy.

Jones repeatedly giving Prescott huge guaranteed contracts is just completely baffling to me.

Overpaid for a serviceable QB who works best as the second option paired with a great running game. The problem for the cowboys is they’ve built the offense backwards with Dak as the lead horse and the run game secondary. They won’t win this way.

Physically, Dak is how I would build my QB in this era. Tall, fast enough to get yards on the ground, big enough to be durable, strong arm. You need a great team around him to get deep into the playoffs, but you say the same about 99% of other QB’s too.

When healthy, a guy like Cousins is better, but Cousins is more injury prone and has 2 maybe up to 4 good years left and Dak has another 7-9. Who else would you have been able to realistically target to replace Dak? Draft a rookie that has a 50%+ chance of busting and before you know it you go 5+ years looking for a good QB?

I’ve been admitting that since the mf got into the league.

He doesn't have to be 'that good'.

He's guaranteed to be richer than pretty much anybody here. He even knows how to convince the owner that he's going to do all the things to take that team to the SuperBowl, you know, all the things he (for reasons unknown) didn't do in his previous years. Well, it's gonna be different.

Review definition of insanity.

Don't worry. Dak's only 31. He's still young. I'm sure he'll figure it out one day.

How many active QBs have won a Super Bowl?

I've known it for about 4 years and also why I was upset JJ gave him 60/yr. He needs to be making in the realm of what Baker Mayfield is making and then can have several more high caliber guys to help win.

I loved them since I was 4, used to ride a Tony Dorsett bicycle...but they are hard to root for now-a-days.
