Clay Travis
@ClayTravis

Important announcement: I am upping my offer, $10 million dollars for a head-to-head basketball game between the defending WNBA champion Las Vegas Aces and a boy's high school state title team of my choice. If the Aces beat my team, I will give them $10 million.

If the boys win, I will give them $10 million to distribute as they see fit to their team members. Game on pay-per-view with all profits donated to Tunnel 2 Towers to provide mortgage free homes to families of deceased soldiers, police & first responders.

This will be the most money ever paid to win a single basketball game. A modern day battle of the sexes. $10 million to the winning team.

I actually WOULD watch that for the lulz that would come from the guaranteed outcome.

But since anyone with a brain knows that that outcome would be, the WNBA would never agree to this.

Would they use a 28.5 or 29.5 basketball?

Sure he's a grifter, just like Alex Jones, Tucker Carlson, Van Jones, Keith Olbermann and a host of "social media influencers" whom many idiots take their tweets as real gospel news.

All that aside, though, are the defending WNBA Champs going to take that offer? Of course they absolutely will not.

And Clay Travis probably wouldn't be doing this if there wasn't a segment of our society, which unfortunately while a minority is the loudest and granted platforms by mainstream media, who wants to try and "cancel" anyone who dares say that someone born with a penis has no business competing in women's sports.

the Class C, Class B and Class A schools from North LA are no joke

frankly I would love to see this with a HS team that runs the Princeton 5 man motion stuff

just back door layup after back door layup

If Travis had any balls he'd make the offer for a randomly drawn high school 4A team. Yeah no shite the IMG academy of future pro basketball players will beat a WNBA team.

He’s putting up $10m which is $10m more than you or anyone else has offered. At least in his grift he’s backing it with money. Most grifters take money.

And it would be the one and only WNBA I’d ever watch.

Guess I'm way out of the loop on high school sports these days, where I forget these "schools" now exist.

I was just thinking of school team like Peabody or St. Thomas More...which would still blow the doors off a WNBA team. Just the speed alone up and down the court would be too much.

@DoTheRightWing

I'm with Clay 100% and would be glad to add an additional large sum of money on top of the $10 million.

Reminder that on Sunday, April 2, 2017, FC Dallas’s Under-15 boys’ academy team defeated the U.S. Women’s National Team 5–2 at Southern Methodist University.

Under 15 which means that most of these boys were 13 and 14 years old.

Essentially the same U.S. women's soccer team that went on to win a bronze medal in 2020 and win a gold medal in the 2024 Olympics.

The backlash any high school, coach, and admin would get over agreeing to this would be roaring, so no one will agree.

I went to one of these schools. Every team I was on there would beat the WNBA champion by 40+.

We were state finalists one year and quarterfinalists the other two- nothing close to the IMG super teams today.

Anyone with an ounce of honesty knows an elite boys team would win easily, so I'm not sure what point Clay is trying to prove if he gets to pick.
