Same as what I said about the other side.

People just want to find things to be mad about. They can be mad at Sophie Cunningham instead of focusing on something that actually matters.

What is the point of this besides having a desire to humiliate women? Let men compete against men. Women compete against women.

Multiple WNBA coaches, players and administrators have recently made a bunch of comments saying it would be perfectly fine to have trans women in the WNBA because they are women, in response to Sophie Cunningham being against it. Very holier than though rhetoric again and again

Travis is trying to show that they are just virtue signaling lunatics

They wouldn't make any money because they wouldn't win. How dumb are you?

What actually matters? Why are you the arbiter of what matters?

Youd be hard pressed to find a mens team that could keep up with women on dishwashing for example

I am a far better dishwasher than my wife, if that matters to the discussion. That's just the pre-hand wash. Loading the dishwasher to her is like trying to learn nuclear physics.

But I love you honey.

Clay Travis cares way more about humiliating women than he does about protecting women’s sports and pretending like he wants anything different is ridiculous to me.

Keep proving my point by simply posting.

This is hilarious to me.

I'm so glad I quit voting next to people like you.

They should just stop all of the misogyny and sexism in professional sports and combine the NBA and WNBA and let the best players make each team.

You’re a white male liberal that voted for Kamala Harris.

That’s entirely fair, and what I said probably came off differently than what I meant.

I guess I just feel like it’s ridiculous that maybe 100 people across all of high school sports, the vast majority who don’t make a difference, have somehow taken up such a large brain space for all of us.

I think I probably have a more similar view to Spencer Cox, Republican gov of Utah, than most other politicians.

IMO, these people are struggling with gender dysphoria. They have by far the highest suicide rate out of any specific group. How do we balance caring for them enough to where they don’t kill themselves while also providing them the truth about who they are/unfair advantages they may have in sports?

try again

By the way Clay Travis described himself as a lifelong Democratic voter who volunteered for Al Gore's 2000 presidential campaign and voted twice for Barack Obama.

Another idea…. I think both sides would take:

Pay-per-view WNBA ALL-STARS vs CLAY’S HS ALL-STARS…..

All proceeds go to charities of each sides choice.

Unlike Riggs vs King, this wouldn’t be easy to “throw”

2000 Al Gore would be a middle of the road conservative in today’s politics

I have empathy for people believing they are of another gender. I think it is harmful that society has decided to “empower” their issues to the point it has.

Plenty of statistics back it up as well. Theres no such thing as a well adjusted trans person.

I know I’m an OT poor, but how can you call $10M “nothing to gain?”

There’s disingenuous, and then there is whatever this post is trying to accomplish. Travis is clearly responding to coaches within the WNBA who within the last week have claimed that trans women should be welcomed in the league. The point is not to humiliate women players, it is strong pushback against the idea that trans women should be allowed to compete with a crazy unfair biological advantage. Again, like he is proposing would demonstrate this.

I will grant that it is undoubtedly true that Travis is trying to generate clicks. So what? He is drawing attention to an issue that somehow became in doubt, even though any irrational person knows it’s ridiculous.

Its gonna take an actual good trans player to convince them otherwise. There was a tranny in the WNBA from 2013-2024 and they averaged 7 pts per game.

Of course the coaches are gonna say they should be welcomed when the league has already had one for a decade and it didnt cause huge issues. They will wake up when some ex-d1 mens player starts dunking on all of em.

Didn’t say that. Do you deny that $10M simply being on the table is something to gain?
