Mike Tirico
Al Michaels

Both do a great job with football.

Andrew Siciliano Is pretty damn good at keeping up with and calling multiple games on DIRECTV Red Zone.

I'm just glad Ernie Johnson isn't on the play by play anymore.

I don't like Ravech on the play by play either. But he's still under contract. And there's no Baseball Tonight anymore. So ESPN had to find something to do with him. I wish he'd go back to Sportscenter.

I was actually laughing at how bad he was. He sounded exactly like the commentary on something like Madden 2005

Just my opinion but I've always enjoyed Boog Sciambi calling baseball games. Had a chance to watch some older Dodger games called by Vin Scully (RIP) - it's easy to see why he was so respected.

Him and Ernie Johnson belong in the studio. That's what they're good at. It's a shame one of the national networks won't hire Vasgersian. His play by play is so smooth. Instead, we're going to be stuck with lousy Joe Davis on the World Series.

Joe Davis is a Kmart Joe buck. They just wanted a guy who sounded like buck with a tinge less arrogance. Milquetoast. And smoltz is getting played out.

I miss Vin scully and Joe garigiola.

Davis sucks arse. I hated him when he was with ESPN. His monotone voice lulls me to sleep every time. FOX cheaped out when they could have had Vasgersian. Whom, ironically, once did NFL and MLB play by play for them a long time ago.

Hell, even Adam Amin is a big upgrade over Davis. frick, I hate Davis on any game.

I like Costas. He’s one of the last known voices from my youth. Listening to him transports me to a time where Cleveland was the Indians and they were oh so close to a WS title.

Agreed, I think McDonough is great.

He and Blackledge are the best college football announcing team going IMO.

Loved Ron Franklin calling big SEC night games on ESPN back in the day. As far as CFB currently, Brad Nessler is still one of the best, if not THE best.

I’ll always be partial to a few that have been part of so many legendary calls across different sports for the past several decades. Jim Nantz, Al Michaels, Brad Nessler

Criminally underrated. Unlike most play by play, I think he gets better in the radio.
