Now this year...maybe not as BM and Jesuit have really good teams teams returning,

Both teams lost many seniors last year. Not the same teams returning in 2022.. Same as to what happen to Rummel in 2020.

Currently Karr is. and yes they will roll jesuit, rummel, bm and st aug.

We'll see...

Karr may be competitive, but they won't "roll" through the district.

They reshuffled the districts in the offseason. Now I think they put all the LP and AP schools in a district and all the EBRs in a district.

mean curtis can and will beat them 50% of the time and st aug and rummel can compete every few years...but karr or curtis is going to win that district 8 out of 10 times.

John Curtis has won one state title since joining the Catholic league & playing in the Div 1 playoffs lol (2014)

Rummel & Jesuit both have 1 in the same period. shite, Jesuit beat JC to win theirs

John Curtis’ move has not been all that fruitful for them

Hahnville vs Destrehan

But anywhere along the river from Algiers to Convent has some great football

The Monroe 3A district has to be in the conversation. Sterlington, Union Parish, and Richwood have all been in the Superdome in the last decade. Wossman and Carroll are always talented as well.
District 2 AAA. They added Bastrop, who hasn't been what they used to be, but we'll see what they do with AAA competition.

4-4A, Lafayette, will be very interesting.

Northside - will go winless in district, likely to finish 1-9. Every team's Homecoming opponent.
North Vermillion - not enough size, speed, or depth .. 3-4 win team. Dem boys know how to duck hunt and catch crawfish.
St Thomas More - 2019 & 2020 back-to-back State Champions, Coach Hightower's teams are always dangerous, STM has been good to LSU
Tuerlings Catholic - Top 5 team in Div II that has nice athletes, just can't get past the 1st or 2nd rd. of the playoffs, 6-7 win team, will go 2-3 in district
Westgate - 2021 record 13-2, State Champions, Derek Williams
Lafayette Christian Academy - speed, speed, and more speed. Jumped from 2A to 4A this year, Top 15 team in State, Top 3 team in Laffy, 2018 thru 2020 3x State Champion, 2021 State Runner-up, destroyed Newman 49-7 last year, Trev Faulk on coaching staff. Favorite to win the district.

This list is Louisiana High School Football writers, coaches and trainers I follow on twitter.

This list is Texas High School Football twitter follows.

This list has the folks from both ot the above lists, and Georgia, Florida, Alabama, California, DC, Virginia and more states High School Football coverage.

14-0 Productions has more Louisiana HSFB history than just about anywhere on the net. It's set up like a site from the AOL days, but once you figure out how to pull the info up, it's a great wormhole to crawl into!

Many, that’s the name of the school, has a fireworks show before each home game that rivals NYC on the 4th of July.

Agreed. I really liked the setup last year. Most stadiums aren’t that close to the school/at least separated by a large parking lot.

yall are in denial about how good karr is.

We shall see. There’s a big difference between getting up for 1-2 games a year and the grind of playing solid teams week after week. I’m not betting against Karr, but the idea that they’re just going to walk through 5A now isn’t realistic either imo.

Karr picked a bad year to join the league. They will be a little down. Catholic league is a grind, not only do you need dudes, you need to play sound, disciplined football.

It will be the 3rd year in a row they won’t win a championship after winning what, 4 straight
