Basketball is complicated because you've got players in Europe who technically "go pro" at like 15 or 16.

No cope, it’s just straight facts that the high and mighty big ten that likes to throw mud at the sec is a dirty conference with far worse skeletons in their closet.
I’d defend any sec team even lil arky as I’ve done multiple times when the big ten starts up. Unlike Michigan arky fired a much better coach immediately when he did the same thing Moore did. Michigan covered it up until he blew dick this year.
I think the rules are dumb but they are there so LSU and Texas should absolutely do what is within the rules.
I’ve said it plenty of times Lane didn’t make these rules so he should play by the rules as they are currently and force the change.

Off the field terrible things that have occurred at B1G schools (including OSU) have nothing to do with the SEC schools cheating and being dirty about player retention/paying players for 20 years coinciding with those teams winning a lot of titles.
I think it's easy to separate those two things and 1) recognize that horrific things have happened at a number of B1G schools and that 2) the SEC recruiting was dirtier than anywhere else in the country for a long period of time.
To just compare them as if they are apples to apples to condone what the SEC did on the field seems like a stretch to me at least

Yeah they (the big ten off the field “things”) are ten times worse and should have resulted in the university charters being revoked and the campuses disbanded

2. Some of those players go to various courts. Several courts grant an injunction making them eligible.
3. The NCAA then gets smaller groups of its own members under a different name (conferences) to pass a rule already ruled by several courts to be halted while litigation occurs.
Adding a rule after-the-fact under a different organization doesn't change the issues surrounding the implementation of the original rule.
Instead, the NCAA should admit it f'ed up, let these players play and administer their own rules better. Right now, they just might argue their way into bigger problems.

They are going to announce something soon but it wont matter. None of these will hold up in court
