Tariffs are a stimulus too, its just the consumer paying.

Between retooling factories on the front end, and subsidizing purchases on the back end, its impossible to criticize "subsidies" of other countries and not our own.

EV's are a long way from being a go to car here in America. China historically is known, in any industry, for stealing other's / American science & developing their own copy cat product. And "slave labor" is a fact, not an exaggeration.

I don’t doubt we were first, but they are best as of today. I’d rather get a 30k suv from China that’s stylish, good range, top features over any American car for 30k
