Just came back from China. Our auto industry is doomed.

All of their uber equivalent was EVs that put Tesla to shame. Entry cars sub 20k and now they are entering Canadian market. If you want affordable family small suv or a sedan, Chinese EVs are your future.
Also for the small gov folks, this means we need to remove the tariffs that makes these cars not financially competitive. Free markets am I right?

You know their car companies are heavily subsidized by the government right? They also pay slave wages.
I for one do not want them to have access to our free market if they are not playing by the same rules.

The fake news always talks about how bad it is to live in China but I hear that it’s way better than here. You can have a fun factory job, go shrimp fishing with the boys after, cheap beer, no taxes, no diversity, no fat people, eat Chinese food every day. Makes me wish my eyes weren’t so round because I don’t think they just let white boys up and move there

Honda’s CEO recently toured a Chinese manufacturing plant and walked out saying, “We have no chance against this.” Everything was automated, running at maximum efficiency capable of output 20x what anyone else is capable of.

None, I just travel a lot and am surprised how advanced other countries are.

I might overbuy some cheap polos to wear to work and some little gidgets and gadgets from Amazon, but I would never make a major purchase for anything from fricking China.
