But this board swore up and down that we couldn’t afford BK’s buyout? Lol
It was just a few Pumptards spewing out their defiant ""Brian Kelly isn't going Anywhere" BS the week before the A&M game and saying that anybody who didn't agree with them were "Miserable."

WSJ is suspect. Can't even spell Louisiana correctly.

One of these days im gonna figure out how they do it. I get the overall prestige of the university and its ability to compete in any sport but I have just not ever been able to discern how they dwarf everyone else so much. What are they doing different to lower costs?

FAKE news ! Especially since a well-known publication would spell Louisiana wrong. Just saying!

This is why 30 million on the roster is a drop in the bucket. It’s entirely sustainable. Heck we could spend $200 million and it be sustainable.

What does revenue have to do with costs?

Valuation off revenue is a waste of time. Would hope and assume they accounted for expenses in how they came up with the valuations.

After looking @ those total figures, rankings:

LSU @ # 4 is very impressive!

But if you add a mere $4k to our total = LSU moves up to # 3

** AND WITH JUST $50k (+1 dollar) MORE = LSU WOULD BE # 2 **

LSU = BIG TIME!! (How & Where do I send my check ~ Seriously)?!

All schools on that list are either SEC, B1G or Notre Dame.

Edit: Colorado is on there at #20.

They forgot Kiffin’s opinion is the one that matters.

Playing for a natty, which I’d rather have than a valuation ranking. Texas has always been #1 in those surveys but hasn’t won a men’s big 3 natty in over 20 years.

I mean Texas is a pretty big market. Now you know why the Longhorn Network was a thing

The Texas schools are the poster children for doing less with more. It’s wild.

Kinda surprised the WSJ has difficulty with both spelling and ordering #s. One would think they would have software to catch such glaring mistakes, not to mention the team of proofreaders and editors.
