I've never seen a lazier blocker start for LSU.

he's given up on his routes a couple of times which have led to turnovers as well.

This was probably part of the reason why they pulled him in some series to give Barber some run.

Not benched, but definitely needs some coaching attention this week. And a short leash for now.

He doesn't need to be benched but he does half arse a lot of blocks and routes. If he doesn't correct it then maybe they talk about it.

I'll let the folks who get paid make these decisions, but i think the path has been cleared for Corey Barber to steal reps from him

He needs a little Hines Ward coaching philosophy.... "no block, no rock!"

I don't agree that he needs to be benched necessarily, but he has had a number of plays like this one. The Pick 6 against LA Tech happened in part because of his lazy effort on a rub route where he had zero effect on the DB covering Jackson Harris. There was another run against Clemson by Leavitt where he did exactly what he did in this clip, but Leavitt scored in that case.

He's strangely uncommitted to helping to block, and the reason it stands out is because he is literally the only guy on the team that isn't committed to helping the running game.

He's caught every ball thrown to him.

I remember that play thinking had there been a fumble Winnie would've had to read about it on tRant.

I have a feeling all of this negative attention along with coaching staff getting on him will do the trick. I expect a strong turnaround this Saturday. He will won’t to prove himself.

He was brought here because he knows the offense. As soon as some other receivers step up and make him expendable, he'll find the bench.

True, but this is not the first occurrence of quitting on plays. There are bad games with "mistakes" made (dropping passes). WW is making "choices" not "mistakes" when he quits on plays.

I noticed on the second TD to Barber that he was probably the 4th option in the progression. Sam looked several places before seeing him wide open on the out pattern. That's a good sign that his head is in the play even if he thinks it's not coming to him.

Winnie definitely has a maturity issue that seems to arise more in these types of games
