Our Friday guy in ‘23 liked the purples too and he turned out decent

He was given #8 for a reason. He’s lived up to the number even though he hasn’t been able to contribute on the field.
Without tre Morgan’s play we don’t even make the finals. We finish 3rd or 4th overall.

His epic bunt defense was in the win or go home game against Wake.
Next time Milam comes up with bases loaded, WVU should just intentionally walk him.

re: Schmidt or Evans?

Schmidt has done exactly what Kade did last year. Lit it up during midweek starts, completely crapped the bed during SEC play. Kade started showing flashes during the regional, but then the season ended.

Schmidt needs to put about 15-20lbs on his frame, that additional strength with help him control his mechanics better. And then he just needs more mound time. The kid is a hard worker, is from BR, and loves LSU so I think he’ll put in the work this offseason. I’m excited to see what he’ll do next year.

I’d take Evans, Schmidt, or Williams. We need a solid lefty starter. If it won’t be Williams then we need to get one in the portal. Hopefully Guidry comes back to full strength and can be the lockdown closer after his med RS this year.

Hopefully we can get Noot back as well.

A returning core staff of Evans, Schmidt, Williams, Rizy, Guidry, Sheerin, and Noot is exciting with Yeskie working with all of them all offseason.
The cheddar goblin is the best.

Had me and my wife rolling and now it’s become one of our stupid jokes

Let me ask you this, crucial point of the game with a lefty on the mound, do you really want Josh Pearson hitting or do you want Derek Curiel hitting?

I want the guy who has shown up time and time again in big moments in the postseason. Give me old man Pearson.

If you listen to any of the players interviews post games, or with mic’d up, you’d have an understanding that the players on this years team are unselfish and accept their role to help the team win each day, even if its a different role from game to game. All of these guys are team first

He probably gets an honest crack at 2B in the fall.
At this point Evans needs to be our 3rd starter. We can’t make it thru the pool play in Omaha without a reliable 3rd starter who can get us 5-6 innings. That needs to be Evans. Let Cowan be set up, Shores close.
That MFer has been FLYING all over the outfield this weekend

Little Rock finally coming back down to earth after playing well above their station all weekend.
Any chance you shut the hell up?
Evan’s hasn’t pitched much in the last few weeks and is now being asked to throw 20 more pitches than his longest outing. He’s gonna hit a wall eventually.
Louisville, Arizona, west Virginia were 2 seeds.

I think duke and UTSA were 3 seeds.

Are you retarded?

re: Noot starting?

If Noot is dealing he probably has a pitch count near 75-80 pitches.
We really gonna act like DBU hasn’t been a top 25 team all year?

We also have the same number of shutouts in this regional as we have on the entire regular season: against PFW and OU. PFW didn’t even make the postseason, and the weather for the OU game was an offensive nightmare.

They’ve pitched great and played great, it’s okay to give the boys some credit.
