Any court order would likely come from Baton Rouge’s jurisdiction and you can bet your arse Hillar Moore ain’t gonna have any of that.

Well I guess it’s a good thing that we’re all Tigers.
After what JJ did with crews, Curiel, and Brown, I don’t know why any top rated outfielder would move off their number

Yes, the rehab/recovery processes of ACL injuries has improved greatly but you can tell this guy has put in a ton of work to already be moving like that.

still takes 9 months for the graft to mature. the research on it is pretty clear, return to full participation in sport before 9 months post-op is irresponsible.
Anyone know what Schmidt’s playing weight was as a freshman?

Does that make him the 3rd big leaguer from the 23 team?
I think that ABS will be a good thing for us. The strike zone tightens up a good bit in conference compared to preconference. If we have to get used to the same strike zone all year it’ll only help us in the long run. We just may not look like world beaters on the mound in February and march like we did for the last few years.
As predicted earlier in this thread multiple times, the run on high schoolers has taken off.
Exactly. Sanarelli could get drafted and offered 800k which may be enough to keep him out of BR. Each kid has a different situation and a different number.

One thing that has me hopeful is with only 2 signees drafted in the first 10 rounds, jay was able to beef up our NIL and sales pitch to these kids to where we are successfully competing with MLB teams. The kids guaranteed to sign have been taken. The MLB teams see the rest of our class as threats to make it to campus so if they want any of them, they’ll have to shell out some big bucks and even then they may not be fully confident that they’ll sign.

Edit: 3 kids taken. Forgot about blomker.
All these people thinking the MLB draft slot values work like the NFL where the only negotiation is guaranteed money. In the MLB it’s all guaranteed, and every pick is negotiable.
Cam Johnson being a top 200 prospect after 3 years of looking like nuke laloosh against SEC competition just baffles me. I know you can’t teach 6’6 with 95 from the left side, but after Yeskie and Skip Johnson at LSU and OU couldn’t fix him, I’m very curious to see which MLB team thinks they can.

We've been through this before only to watch 3-4 of our guys get picked up in a 15 minute span.

Seriously. We were in the same position last year, feeling like we had gotten away with 5-6 players thru the first day only to get gutted in the first 2 rounds on day 2.

I’ll be much more optimistic if we’re in a similar position after the 10th round, which is when the game changes and then MLB teams try to throw Hail Mary offers at kids

Seriously. Skenes, jones, Curial, Also took griffin away from us in 24.

I just hope they don’t take CJJ

Ultimate change of pace guy, everyone is used to seeing 90+, they’ll get high popups and a ton of rolled over grounders with something that slow. /s
The only way this works is if the USAbat standard makes it even deader than BBCOR, which may be why they made the change.

I disagree, have you even paid attention to Milam the last 2 years? Watching an artist at work at short stop is beautiful.
