The only way this works is if the USAbat standard makes it even deader than BBCOR, which may be why they made the change.

Strikeouts and home runs are the most fun aspects of baseball

I disagree, have you even paid attention to Milam the last 2 years? Watching an artist at work at short stop is beautiful.

56-0 incoming if that happened lol

We still need strike throwers.
Team morale fell apart when the offense went cold vs McNeese while Stanny was out. Pitching wasn’t great but not awful until 3 weeks later when the offense got rolling again and then the wheels fell off of the pitching staff.

This is the offensive transfer we didn't get last year that Ace Reese would have been that Jacob Berry and Tommy White were

Stanfield was that guy we just got him for 2 years. I still maintain that if he doesn’t get hurt the first weekend then our season plays out very differently.
Fontenot went to Acadiana High
Call them lorida because Troy just beat the F out of them.
Milam is gonna be drafted in rounds 11-20 where they can lowball him and it doesn’t effect the teams bonus pool if he doesn’t sign. At that point it’s gonna come down to a bidding war between the mlb team and NIL. I think the max offer he’ll get from MLB is 500k, and unless a team falls in love with him I think it’s probably gonna closer to 300k. He’s got the best infield glove in the college game but he’s short, average speed, doesn’t have the power to make up for it, and he starts slow at the plate every year. Unfortunately that’s just not that valuable in the pro game, where the game has turned into power pitchers vs power hitters.

He would have had a better shot at it 15-20 years ago
Mississippi has never recovered from when they had to start paying people to pick cotton.
Mikey Ryan is about it.

Hogg went to a juco looks like and Costello is hitting .246 at Maryland.

I don’t think we’d have kept Larson just to play 1st, though I think with hindsight being 20/20 keeping Ryan instead of getting either Simpson or Carraway to compete for 2nd or 3rd would have been smart.
Who outside of Larson is performing well elsewhere?
Ok I know most of our transfers have been arse but can we talk about how awesome Danny Lachenmeyer has been in SEC play? Dude’s been nails every time he’s been called upon over the last month.
How many times have we seen a pitcher come in do his job and get a routine ground ball to get out of an inning and the defense makes an error.

At least 2x for every loss we have in the SEC. Not many games this year where we were fully out classed. We have literally thrown away 6 wins with errors.
We’re gonna blow the lead again anyway so let the young guns get some work.
Ok that clip should absolutely have been called an infield fly rule to protect the offense from that exact scenario.

Kade Anderson and Ethan Frey were bums

So are Jake Brown, Josh Pearson, John Pearson, and William Schmidt
That’ll stop with Yorke in vs a lefty

I do not understand the move here.

Enough transfers from Rhode Island and Grand Canyon.

Are we forgetting the absolute gems he got from Utah Valley, Indiana State, San Diego state, and Wofford that were absolutely critical to winning a natty last year?
