Yes but the fact that Kiffin literally said Watkins was benched because he dropped two easy TD passes so he put in Barber debunks every argument you are trying to make here. Just let it go. Watkins sucked and he got benched for someone who could get the job done in that certain game. Kiffin will not put up with half arse play no matter who you are.

That's true...pump the brakes on Barber a bit for now and let's see him do this against some SEC defenses.
Maybe he will end up just as valuable to us as Darby is to Kentucky as a true freshman.
Perhaps Barber stealing reps from Watkins is what needed to happen to light a fire under him. Watkins needs to block and if he doesn't he should take reps off.
I wonder if Jabari Mack just hasn't progressed as much as Barber?

He’s definitely had some shocking moments on tape. The La tech interception was some of the worst effort I have seen. Looks like Lane had enough and sent Barber out there. Hopefully Watkins gets the message.
