This is Ole Miss propaganda.

Watkins has been great other than a few plays.

You see this more and more often nowadays. Everyone is making business decisions. It's funny that players are now LESS committed even though they are getting paid millions of dollars in college

Not everyone has a bad game due to lack of effort. Some guys never do. And that’s the kind of players you want.

I don’t know if Watkins has an effort problem, but if he does he should be benched. That shite is contagious.

You make this statement and double down and call somebody else stupid. You have no self awareness. Nobody on the team is beyond reproach and the fact that Kiffin benched Watkins (the other starters were still in when he did) proves that the coaches feel the same.

Deduct from his professional salary; he will get motivated very quickly.

Watkins & D. Jones left at the same time in 2Q. Does that mean our leading rusher is getting benched too?

Not a winning type player. arse effort most of the time if the play isn't designed to go to him.

Some of y'all need cognitive abilities. Lane actually said that WW got benched because of the drops.

See NFC wildcard game 1999 between GB and SF as to why you don’t bench someone for dropped passes.

He seems to have a serious effort issue. They need some accountability with him one way or another.

He was brought here because he knows the offense. As soon as some other receivers step up and make him expendable, he'll find the bench.

He's also really, really good at getting open.

I've watched that play a few times now. The only explanation I can think of to give him the benefit of the doubt is It's an RPO and it almost looks like he didn't realize the QB had handed it to the RB. By the time he does he tries to react to the Safety who is his man to block and just doesn't do it. Safety ends up making the tackle.

Other explanation is he's lazy and didn't want to block the safety. Not a good look.

That doesn’t change the fact that D. Jones left the game the same drive as Watkins….

Reality of the modern day divas that we pull for very weekend. You take the good with the bad. I do not envy the guys who have to discipline these guys that can quite literally decide how your career and lively hood end up. Coaches don't exactly hold all the cards anymore, got to keep everyone happy to an extent.

Did one of those players get called out by the head coach on national television? If so, which one?
