Wade said "I think it's widely known by the people who cover us, it's pretty easy to determine who the 15 guys are we have out there practicing with us." (This excludes Santos)

Guards: Dent, Clark, Divine, Nunez, Bashir
Wings: Luis, Niang, Mo
Bigs: Ruzic, Dessert, Levy
Then add walk ons and maybe one surprise. Luis is pretty much the only true question mark at this point.

Great press conference, right, wrong, or indifferent I love how Wade handles these with intensity.
I’m honestly more confused about our roster now though. I’m sure he has a reason not to announce it, but it has me scratching my head.

Edit: My point is that they have had open practice to the press (per wade) and we still have 3 unknowns on the roster that have been practicing. Why are those remaining names unknown.

Yeah. Like I said above, once you throw in Luis, there are three unknowns.

No, but the less time they have the more likely they are to write a stupid rule that is directed at LSU.

All these guys in classes? Its almost October, midterms coming up. Did they participate in their classes since August?
As a "fan" its an overlooked thing that these players are also Students, I just dont understand how someone can randomly bypass going to class or enroll but then not go to school if ruled inelgible? I'm so confused.
Student-Athlete no?

This may be a dumb question for these 5 guys, but does anyone know when their hearings are? Or how long the process is?

That never was the case before NIL and that's what is driving the foreign pros to college. Wade knows and knew months ago the NCAA was going to work to close that loophole for future years. But while the opportunity was present, why not try to sign experienced pros to give you the best chance to be great immediately?
and again I'm fine with this approach, our options were
1) get out bid by more established programs in a transfer pool that was kind of weak. So we move down our board and end up with a very mediocre at best roster ala McMahon
2) Go balls deep on this loop hole while we can, establish some program momentum, and reccruit with a bigger stick next year. If this Euro approach fails in year 1, we were likely to anyway. This at least gives us an edge to field a competitive team

Santos is out.
There is no "hearing" per se. They are just waiting on a decision from the NCAA.
