There is no reason you can’t get creative with boutte
That’s on coaches
If he is getting double team than someone should be wide open

Because defenses are covering the WRs and letting the freshman TE run free a lot.

Guess what? Every year is starting to be a rebuilding year because of the transfer portal, an increasing number of injuries every year, players dropping out to prepare for the NFL draft, coach changes, etc. Only the elite programs like Alabama reload instead of rebuild because they seemingly have hundreds of good players.

They were forcing this even when it was not needed.

They’re not involved, they are our only pass targets. Your wife has you thinking that every question is “bitching”, but it’s not. Thanks for the on point answer though, you brought a ton to the table!

Because our QB checks down a lot. Simple.

That about sums up most of our fans. We knew coming in it was rebuilding year yet you’ve got dumbasses criticizing everyone and everything at the first hint of adversity.

Lots of quitters and mentally weak people among us.

What’s mentally weak is even coming up with this response to a question about why the quarterback has a problem seeing anyone else on the field but the tightend who’s the safe throw. It’s a rebuilding year so frick all this basic stuff that any team should be doing. Why should we care about the main problem hindering the teams progress and towing the line of losing every game to a decent team, that’s stupid and we’re quitters

Do you really not know the answer? Daniels can’t see past 7 yards. So unless you want Boutte running 5 yard slants that Daniels can’t throw anyway then I don’t know what the solution is.

Boutte is 3rd best receiver on the team right now

Because Daniels keeps checking down. He can't throw downfield so he keeps dumping it down to the TE.

Move Boutte to tight end, problem solved ha.

If you aren’t over number seven yet… I’d suggest getting that way

Not when teams can get pressure sending only 4. Allows you to bracket Boutte.

Or they’re bracketing Malik then rolling zone to Keyshone in hopes of baiting Jayden into forcing a throw. Which he isn’t biting on.

Taylor primarily runs 6 yd routes in the middle of the field and easily visible.

This is the answer

Daniels is comfortable going to him with the ball.

Not sure. They both seem to drop most of their targets though, so it’s pretty much a wash either way.

Most of it is because the quarterback is extremely risk averse

I don't think this is the right description.

He needs to see the open player before he can let it go (that's a major weakness) and he's a well below average ability to read/understand the defense.

For years assholes bitched about getting the tight ends involved. Now they’re involved, assholes bitch because they are.

This is dumb.

People aren't complaining about the TEs being involved...they are complaining about the WRs not being involved.

How in the world were you unable to figure this out?

Maybe we should switch out our right end for Bech or someone who is a play maker? If he likes throwing to right end so much. And eventually other stars we have will not be double teamed as much..right?

There were more than a few times last night where Daniels had time in the pocket and was going through his progressions and there was no play. Auburn was pushing only 4 in pressure mostly with rare instances of sending 5 or 6
