I don't think so. It's the defense. Only way we are even close, is the defensive play. They are playing very well right now. And only getting better each and every game. Wish the offense could wake up and realize this season is half way over already.

Well, hopefully it it is all season, which it may be, who knows. But, I really hope in the spring Howard gets a serious look for the starting role. And hope the staff doesn't just hope they can fix Daniels.
Which could put Daniels in a tough spot it he loses job next season and misses being drafted...

I have a idea, even the commentators last night talked about JD being a two minute qb. For some reason he only plays good when it's two minute offense.
How about start playing someone else someone else more throughout the quarter (throughout the game), and bring Daniels in for two minute offense. C...

Maybe we should switch out our right end for Bech or someone who is a play maker? If he likes throwing to right end so much. And eventually other stars we have will not be double teamed as much..right?...

The o-line is playing much better right now. Giving him time back there most of the time.
Wouldn't you guys at least like to see another qb(Nuss), go out there and maybe he throws a couple pics, but also throws for 250 in the game with a couple scores. Would at least keep the receivers interested ...

It kind of sucks, wish he didn't hang it up so soon. He obviously saw the the staff really wanted to develop JD and go with him no matter what. Really wish he stayed though. We could really use him right now. And I bet he'd have starting role locked up by now. I'm sure he's kicking himself right now...

The defense is what even gave the offense the opportunity to have that great comeback at the end of the game. FSU could have easily scored again, should have. Definitely 3rd down defense needs lots of work, but overall could be quite good by games 4 or 5. Who knows it could be something like Aranda...
