Are you under the impression that the money for coaches and the money for recruits comes from the same place?

Who do you think runs this program financially? The AD turned a 6 million dollar profit last year. That won't even pay BK's salary for this year

These type of posts are pathetic. It's just a reason to complain about the A.D., and it wouldn't surprise me one bit if it had something to do with him being a white male.

And yes I'm an old man saying this. (but I'm aware of inflation)

Yep, agreed. The AD's job is to find that balance. I'm not complaining about the contract, because I don't know anything about LSU's financials. 95% of the people on this board don't know enough to have an educated opinion, yet it seems like everyone has one anyway

Yep. And for these people there is no winning. You pay for top notch coordinators and they cry about the money. You don't pay for coordinators and lose games/recruits because of it and they move the goal post to not winning enough. They set themselves up for a win/win situation for having something to bitch about.

If you are basing that reasoning on what we pay for coaches, you have no clue how college athletics work. Do you honestly believe the coaching salary budget is determined by Woodward and not the BOS thru the TAF? He doesnt get a gold star for clipping coupons when hiring people.
