I'll let you in on a secret: If LSU was undefeated, people would still be asking the same question.

Then it would be "Ole Miss has 3 losses". Kentucky? They have 2 losses and they're Kentucky.

Bama, Tx and TN will have at least 3 losses if they lose to LSU.

There are no great teams this year.

Auburn has the best win so far this year and LSU beat them unconscious.

That includes playing and coaching like shite against Kentucky, and we still had opportunities to win that game multiple times.

Go for it on 4th and 1.

Tackle on a goddamn punt and have a block in the back called out of 3 possibilities.

So forth and so on.

Our worst game this season is against a team that beat us in OT and is a top 10 team (which is fricking wacky and they are not nearly that good, but whatever).

Ole Miss is a different story as Trinidad just stood on his head all damn game. Should’ve won that one, too, but we coached too conservatively in the first half on defense before Lane let Blake let slip the dogs.

I know we are all convinced Clemson sucks but they are 4-3 with loses to us, Miami and UVA. They still have to play FSU, Syracuse, GT, Duke and SC.

They can win 3 or 4 of those games, maybe all 5 if we are lucky. 9-3 to 7-5

Clempson does suck.

But

They should have beaten UVA.

They should lose to Duke and SC.

The rest of the games they should win or have very very good chances of winning.

The ACC is just a garbage conference.

#1 Miami

Miami being ranked #1 is such a joke. LSU or any decent SEC team would be undefeated with Miami's schedule. The quality of teams they've played all year is just fricking terrible, and the only team they played with anything close to a pulse, they struggled with. It's criminal that they can play that schedule and be considered the best team in the country. There is literally one ranked team on their entire schedule, fricking wild.

NO ONE has "dominated" LSU this year. In the games they have lost they're 1 deciding play in two games from being undefeated. Those 2 games turn out to be some pretty damn good football teams too. In extremely hostile home environments.

Everyone always minimizes LSU wins. They always have. I specifically remember talking heads constantly moving the goal post during the 2019 season saying, "yeah but wait till they play X, then we will know".

They were all saying Auburn was about to beat LSU. LSU puts belt to arse to the team that just knocked off the #1 team in the nation. Now that LSU put belt to arse, "Auburn sucks".

With all that said. Nothing matters. Win out and earn the respect. If LSU wins out, they will get the respect.

Miami is a good football team dude.

However, I do agree that their schedule does help tremendously with that. They're able to stay healthy.

The old cadre of BCS computers look rather favorably upon LSU's 2026 resume at the present time... so there's that, i guess

Sagarin: #4
Colley: #14
Massey: #12
Billingsley: #7
Wolfe: #14
Anderson & Hester: Doesn't appear to be updated for this season

This may sound crazy but I think the Auburn win is our best win for several reasons. First, it is a road win in the SEC in a tough place where LSU has had trouble in the past. It also broke our streak of road losses. Second, LSU never trailed in the game, was in control the entire game, and essentially blew them out on the road. With an 11:00 a.m. kick, I think a lot of coaches poll voters were able to watch that game which is why LSU shot up on the coaches poll.

We're peaking at the right time, IMO.

My only complaint, currently, is our special teams punting, punt returns and punt coverage have been bad (punt block non existent). But I did notice PJ Woodland on punt coverage and he did well vs Aub so hopefully we put more play makers on spec teams and get more aggressive.

Auburn is our best win. On the road against what was a two-loss team that just beat the #1 team on the road. And beat them by four TDs when the game was really over.

Every win is the best ,new coaches, players ,schemes one of the few teams to blow out most of their opponents and are 3-4 plays from 8-0.The TIGERS seem to be getting better every week and it’s great to see.

Based on what? Maybe they are a good team, but what team have they played that really convinces you of that?
