Berry got most of his production from MVB because that's when he got the majority touches. This hampered his production big time in multiple games. That's something Lester's stats are not showing above. He was second string for a reason as you all saw lol.

3 headed monster with Berry and Lacy next year

If Lacy comes I'd leave if I'm Durham. This is his money year. We need at least 2-3 more RBs from the portal regardless. You absolutely get Lacy if you can and then go after depth pieces (freshman transfers or maybe a local senior without big draft prospects). We'll be fine with Berry and Durham, but if Lacy wants to come you have to take him and be willing to let Durham walk

He’s explosive. His problem has been his vision. He can’t find the holes fast enough resulting in zero to negative yards. Seems he still struggles with it still and Im not sure if that’s coaching or him. But if he fixes that, he’s an All-SEC back.

I hope we hold onto both.

You are comparing the wrong backs. You need to compare Lacy to Durham

I am not going to try and compare them across different offenses and situations.

Lacy would be the perfect bellcow. Durham is a great RB2. Berry would be an excellent fit as the gadget back. So hopefully they cant retain both.

I would have to believe that wherever Frank Wilson ends up, he will try and poach Berry. You may even see a Lacy for Berry trade if Wilson ends at Ole Miss

If we get Lacy, Durham or Berry is gone. No way we keep all 3. Durham has some vision problems and his top end speed isn’t great but I know he’s been suffering from a foot injury for a while and that could be why he often gets caught from behind.

I think that if Kiffin gets Lacy to come over, he will prefer Durham over Berry. But that’s just my opinion. I’m so ready for Tulane to beat OM’s arse so we can see how things shake out.

Durham actually cost us points and maybe a couple of wins this year because he couldn't maintain the velocity to carry the ball into the endzone on long runs. He would make it to about the five and typically the Tigers would settle for three or more often get nothing

You can also use stats to fit your narrative. It goes both ways. You don't think Berry get better as he saw more opportunities? Show his stats from first half of the season compared to back half. I'd say both Durham and Berry started to look better. Berry is also a true freshman. A bit unfair don't you think? Durham does all the little things way better like blocking. I think both can thrive under Kiffin if they both stay with a good OL.

Holy cow! You're like one of those liberals so you can tell them that the sky is blue but they still refuse to believe it. You cannot possibly say that these stats are skewed. I would much rather my steak taste better than look better. Whether you like it or not, Durham was the better back last year. That is not to say Berry didn't have better carries here or there. Or that he won't become a better back than Durham. But last year Durham was the better back. Suck it

He'll be fine. He and Berry have the ability to be 1000 yd backs.

You can keep all 3. Just going to have to redshirt either Durham or Berry if Lacy plays the whole year. Lacy will probably go pro after next year so i can see both players staying and i can see one leaving but i definetely think you can keep all 3 if need be and if if both want to be here.

Would love to see Berry put on some weight

Think it's in everyone's best interest for Durham to transfer. Don't see him as an SEC back at this point.

It’s not a good thought, but I think he and Harlem both leave. Unless they give one of them a healthy pay bump. People talk like Frank and Harlem’s family are basically tied at the hips, We’ll see. I have no concern with LK finding productive running backs

Caden Durham, just in SEC games over the last two seasons:

172car
916 ruYds
5.3 YPC
6 TD

30rec
180reYds

in a run game that had zero plan or idea on how to block.

Durham looked a step slow at the beginning of the season and as we found out in interviews he wasn’t really at full health which would explain it.
What was the other injury if there was one?
Don't remember, ankle?

He hasn't been the same since that dislocated toe and it's been ongoing. I'm wondering if it's possible that he suffered a Lisfranc injury. Half of those go undiagnosed.

I agree with your first sentence but I don't agree with the second one. I do believe Berry is the more dynamic RB.

I just haven’t seen anything explosive from Durham, he may have a top speed that’s fast, but it seems like it takes him 10 steps to get to full speed

Why cant people on here remember that LSU has had the worst running game scheme in the SEC. There is no telling what any of or RBs can do in a Kiffin offense that is often in the top rushing offenses in the NCAA year in and year out. And it was not because he had the best RBs either.

Game situations also matter and Berry was better than Durham. Durham was getting the bulk of the carries early and mid season. Berry is a better back. Time will prove this. I don’t care about pff grades
