Bull shite.
Would have lined up in I-formation with Marshall out wide on the far side. Gilbert would be in the game on the line, going in motion to the near side to see what the safety is going to do.
If they want to leave Marshall one on one out there, I throw it up to him. I'd do this 4 times in a row, although it would only take at the absolute most 2 times if he's single covered.
If he isn't single covered, i'd run the ball out the I.

Put Marshall on one side and Gilbert on the other. Make the defense choose...
Guard our best WR & TE 1:1 and we'll throw it to them.
Put 2 guys on them and we'll have #'s in the box.
This isn't hard. We have offensive weapons to create the matchup. As good as Myles is playing, this is an easy pre-snap read.

1. I-formation run up the A gap.
2. The play-action pass TM scored on against UGA and OU.
3. I-formation run up the A gap or QB sneak.
4. Jump ball to #2 or #6.

22 second you could have called 2 run plays in the huddle.

Slants, slants, slants, and slants

Need to be able to go under center. A QB sneak or use a FB for lead blocking. Slow developing handoff from shotgun is BS.

Only need one
Fake inside zone dive.
Hand to Marshall coming back around from slot position.
Easy run to the corner of the end zone.

Every tall guy on roster for a pass - first down
QB Bootleg with option to pass - second down
Every tall guy on roster for a pass - third down
Flee Flicker to tall guy in the corner - fourth down

Carter at H back with Emery running wide to the flag.

On first down, same play as called but QB keeps it. He would have walked in on first or second down if he kept it.

1. SLANT RPO/Inside Zone
2. Play action with Arik In a flex position and have him leak out into a flat
Because it would’ve been incomplete we’d still have a time out
3. Wildcat with Emory and TDP at Rb. Motioning Kirklin on a jet sweep and have read option with Emory/TDP
4. Either a jump ball to Terrace or Racey because they’re going to come down with it

rub route?
Same concept of first TD. 3 wide, 2 outside run inside and inside hits corner.
Tho, Kirklin was open on the last play. he was open quickly too.

What 4 plays would you have called on the goal line
2nd down - QB Sneak
3rd down - QB Sneak
4th down - QB Sneak
I'm about 99.99999999% sure that one of the 4 sneaks woulda resulted in a TD.

First down should have been play action to either Marshall or Gilbert.
TD with around 40 seconds left.
Of course that would have been more than enough time for Missouri to drive for a tying FG or even winning TD.

Any sort of playaction from a goal line set

Posted on 10/12/20 at 3:37 pm to tigers1956
1) QB sneak with push from behind
2) QB sneak with push from behind
Time Out
3) corner fade
4) I formation PA pass to te slipping out

In reverse order:
Pick play with Marshall and Gilbert. Defense would have shite themselves.
QB half roll, which we ran, but we needed Marshall and Gilbert both in the play, which we didn’t have.
RPO to TDP with a slant to Marshall up high.
2 backs in the gun. Fake inside. Toss outside with Carter leading.
