SEC Shorts

I agree 10000% percent. We should have run the ball on third and long and taken 45-50 seconds off the clock. Then punted. Bama would have taken a knee, most likely, as there would have been less than 30 seconds on the clock with no time outs, and at worse, we could have been down 13-3.

Great place to work and company to work for. Been there for 22 years. Good luck to you.
You do realize that Orleans is one of like 10 parishes +\- that make up the jury pool? There may not be one person from Orleans parish on the jury. You going get people from St Charles parish, St Tammany, etc.
I'm going to speculate that Jesuit would have thrown our #3 who turned out to be our ace by the end of our season. Covenant Christian was sandwiched between our 2 games against Karr. Our #1 and #2 pitchers threw against Rummel the week before and our #2 started against HC Game 1 the week after. Our #1 developed arm issues during his start against Rummel and didn't pitch again for a month. There was 6 days between the CC scheduled game and his start against HC game #2.

Our #3 got on a serious roll. Here were his last 5 games

Holy Cross 3 hits CG 1 HR W 6-1
John Curtis 2 hits CG W 2-0
St Aug 8 hits CG W 3-2
Alexandria 6 hits CG W 4-0
St Thomas More 6 hits 1 ER 9 K's CG lost 2-1

He had 5 CG his last 5 games and only gave up 4 ER's. He also had a 28:4 K:BB ratio in those 5 games.
Well, my son just played Rummel there last week and I’m 99% certain I remember 312. I guess I could be wrong but would be bet I’m not.
Jesuit is a team no one is talking about. 10-2 with wins over Mandeville, PJP (1-1 vs them), Ponchatoula, Covington, beat and knocked out the Southern Miss signee from Belle Chase after 3 innings with 7 hits, Lakeshore, and Shaw 10-0 in 5 innings, among others. Losses to PJP and De La Salle but was winning or tied with both teams going into the 7th. Also has 5 shutouts in 12 games. They seem to face every team's ace or #2 too.
No need for name calling. You hang out at the Cleary Tavern? I think I’ve seen you there before smoking your Marlboro Reds and drinking Natural Lights.
