Shaw didn't have his free throw shooting down while at LSU. Do you remember 'hack-a-Shaw*? Opponents would send him to the line as a game strategy.

The Summer of Ten Thousand Passes is needed for all the chemistry to be fine tuned.

Joey; have a long talk with Nuss outlining exactly how this was designed, devised and implemented.

Can we bring him in as a Consultant?

He was six when Peterson was at LSU.
If the receivers play lights-out this fall, that will tremendously influence his final decision (if any difference is less than $250K).

Anyone that tells him that he would be first round in the NFL draft (presently) and needs no development at the College level is lying through their teeth. LSU has proven numerous times that they develop receivers for the first round.
Our staff is more stable than is Day doesn't win it all in 2025-26 playoff. He would have left had they lost the NC Game. Remember the fans were giving his family death threats after losing to Michigan.

The OSU situation will remain in flux.

Remember that a loss in the Championship pretty much guaranteed Ryan Day was out at OSU. Miss out in 2025 and he's going to be facing "what have you done for me lately" talk and more death threats to his family. The kid may never get to even practice in Spring 2026 under Day. He'll be off to the NFL.
And Gilbert played hobbled with injuries . . .
Have Burrow give him a call and talk about his experiences.
Women's hoops ought to be drawing more attention and money than the men's. They have earned that right. They also have won a national championship where LSU has never made it to the finals. Plus, those accomplishments are over a generation ago. I'm also wondering if gymnastics might be ahead of MBB.
"LSU has a top 5 pedigree in the conference"

SEC Men's Basketball completely reinvented itself a little more than five years ago. Unfortunately, LSU doesn't seem to have got the memo back then . . .

The Bridge was burned down far too many times for any consideration - even as a water boy . . .
The B1G will become a conference within limited discussion now that USC, UCLA and Oregon have joined the conference. Longstanding Big10 teams in this new era; not so much.

If Ohio State played baseball in the SEC, would they even win one conference series during the 2025 regular season?

If he doesn't see the regular rotation of receivers as a true freshman, I'd love to see out of him what Jarvis did his first year on special teams.
The reason why we want a QB every year is to assure that the necessary development takes place atthat position on a consistent level. Just like any other position, not everyone develops on the same timetable. Having quality QB recruits every year helps smooth over bumps in the road including injuries.

If he has the motor of Jarvis, I'm more than sold.

Social Security = will it even be around 10 years from now?
Day is leaving just cuz of a couple of friendly death threats against his family?

This is the new normal.

We should all be emotionally prepared to receive our first (and likely many more) death threats. It's going to become another sliver of the onion that makes up the beautiful fabric of America (as so unique and special).

I would suggest those empowered to threaten have sentiments kinda like the would-be arsonists that are setting fires in the brush of LA County during high wind moments because they are bored and crave "shiny things".
