Probably took this name due to his golf swing . . .
Frank was in so far over his head. I doubt Frank had clarity to look at situations in a vacuum. There was too much noise [too much multi-tasking for a significant percentage of folks over 50] where he clearly couldn't do a single thing thoroughly [and ultimately "right"].
Strength and Conditioning Issues that plagued this team may also have been lacking for hand strength. Regardless, the abilities that Berry has to create opportunities to extend runs is hard to teach. There's significant value in having those types of weapons.
Our new RB coach will fix any issues Berry has with holding onto the ball [technique or strength and conditioning or both].

We could see the most effort out of this group of all season. This is their Money opportunity.
Where did we go wrong in believing the BS that Kelly was shoveling to us?
Lots of Smoke and Mirrors in that man's mantra.

Is he worth $13 million?
Perhaps these deals for payment need to have performance markers to make the full amount [or to make a bonus]. Its the cash the check and don't work as hard as Burrow did in the off season before Senior Year that really sucks.

We need some folks with actual business backgrounds as part of the staff in order to explain what you do when you picked a bad one. Simply cut bait and move on for next year.
I don't believe I've ever seen an LSU QB that looks like he's afraid to go out onto the field. He is so psyched out that he looks like a junior high QB.

He'll have the whole game with 8 minutes left in the fourth quarter down by 21.
Woodward stepped away from the Business-person role of an AD when he let his emotions control his decision making having heard the passionate Joe Burrow Heisman Trophy Ceremony speech.
While pretty much everyone knew and acknowledged the best thing that Orgeron did as a coach was to:
1. convince Burrow to transfer to LSU; and then to stand back and stay out of everyone else's way; and
2. listen and acted upon the strong endorsement by Sean Payton with the hire of Joe Brady.
He was a CEO coach where all of the stars aligned. Unfortunately, Kelly was also a CEO coach, but the stars very obviously did not align.
A good executive always steps back and weighs all circumstances and potential ramification [positive and negative] on critically important decisions. Scott simply couldn't have done the same as concerns the Orgeron extension. He also should have learned from the Orgeron extension mistake and not duplicate the same mistakes in the hire of Kelly.
What's worse is Woodward probably wasn't presented a "binder" that included all of the players and coaches Kelly would bring along with him to LSU. If Kelly and / or his agent was lying to Woodward [since he only brought his OC with him and a punter], then Woodward also didn't demonstrate what a good executive is able to accomplish in sniffing out the puffing / bullshite upfront in the middle of a deal . . .

Forget about his little brother.
If his dad was such a pain in the arse, why do you want to invite more years of this dad?

How would Kelly know.
Wasn't he working on his short game at the course?

We are missing our "Quarterback" of the defense. If the D-Line is "back" against a run first offense, that could make the game closer.
Chester will still be in the mix with the OLine, and, that simply is not a good thing.
Despite this being Chester's third season (along with being the full time center last season), I'm just not seeing his performance being aligned with the smarts demanded of all on the OLine.

LSU needs to strip the concept of special numbers. They are simply one more distraction from focusing on getting the job done.

As we (nor Notre Dame fans) were even aware of this hire, how did anyone know the fans were happy to see him go before the hiring went public???
No Whit = No Win.
The bigger question is whether Whit returns (after such an injury-riddled season) as a Tiger or chucks everything here in the NFL(?).

You are living in the past.
The decision he makes on Sloan after the A&M game (two weeks for the "next coach up" to ready this offense for BAMA) will have a lot of impact on both the remainder of the season outcome AND what the roster (of current recruits and players not heading to the transfer portal) looks like going forward.
Stubbornness and inaction could seal Kelly's long term fate. With revenue sharing, etc., how much more the ticket holders are willing to spend (to get Kelly out of here sooner) may be the only way to solve this glaring obstacle sitting in the way of LSU's short term possibility of success.

What competent Offensive Coordinator would come and work for him in 2026 (with the exception being that he fires Sloan now and replaces Sloan with a competent interim OC already within the staff)?
