Luis should be more eligible than TTech QB Sorby.
We are getting another pro player from Europe, so what is the difference if there is elibibility left. The NCAA has created a mess.

Will Wade made into a Cheater by the media for doing what every other blue blood did (both for this recruiting year and making damn strong offers in previous).
Make them whine & cry while winning the SEC.

So, we are finally on an even recruiting plane with Duke, Ky, and Kansas.
Karma is a bitch.

Last I checked I think 4 or 5 of the best guys in the transfer portal had some sort of foreign pro experience.

Hes a pro! He played pro ball and was under contract as a professional player that GAVE UP HIS COLLEGE ELIGIBILITY, to turn pro.
And now, our pos character coach is taking a flier hoping he's somehow gonna beat the courts ultimately.
I agree that I have my doubts Luis will be eligible because he previously played college basketball. However, I don't seem to recall your outrage when McMahon was signing "pros". Zipper was a pro. McMahon had a 5 year pro from Australia, Owen Foxwell, committed before he was fired. And I hate to break it to you, but David Patrick was working to get more of such guys. I guess it was because McMahon could have signed the Phi Slama Jama roster and somehow gone .500, at best, with Clyde Drexler redshirting, Olajuwan playing wing, and Benny Anders sitting on the bench most of the year until LSU was out of contention, that no one cared enough to become outraged.

Then why are you constantly in discussions about college basketball? I dislike gardening. But I'm not in every topic on that board screaming about my disdain for using the wrong pesticides

If he is ruled eligible it doesn’t really “help lsu”. It will be a signal to everyone else they are allowed to do this, they will, and voila everyone js even with a bunch of fricking middle aged pros playing

Yep. LSU then fires our coach for nothing while Kansas gives Bill Self a lifetime contract.
6 months later, paying players was OK.

The biggest problem is that if you allow a player that declared for the draft, gave up his college eligibility, then signed a 2 way contract, then is allowed back into college basketball…what would stop every player from declaring for the draft then deciding after the draft is over, depending on their contract status, to come back to college? There’d be no consequence to going thru the draft.
If you are one of these good teams like Michigan, you could in theory have all your guys declare for the draft and then not know who you’ll be getting back till July. It’d be chaos. More than it is now. It’d be like college baseball except you’d have guys eligible every year to be drafted. Not knowing what your team is gonna look like till July-August is crazy

You'd have college baseball. At least until the draft was shortened, it was pretty routine for guys to be drafted in later rounds and choose to return to college there and no one seems to complain.

That, theoretically, can happen now. Since 2018 a basketball player with remaining eligibility can enter the draft and return to school (under certain circumstances) if he goes undrafted. From a practical sense it doesn't happen often because coaches plan for it. Generally by assuming the player won't return and filling the spot before the draft.

18 points, seven rebounds a game

Can we get a Louisiana judge to hear the case like Chambliss and Sorsby have managed to get?
Posted on 5/19/26 at 3:25 pm to Jauquismos
Probably less than a 1% chance of being eligible, but this is funny

Didn't work for alabama..courts ruled for ncaa. We will be spending more time in court than on the court. Old habits are hard to break.

As much as I don't like the NCAA, to be fair we have to blame certain activist judges. Those judges (and the players' lawyers) created this mess.

I dislike what it's becoming. And low character guys like wade do whatever they can to make it worse
And as far as your other gibberish, I think Mc was a horrible choice, but a safe one considering Wade put LSU in a bad situation that needed to be cleaned up...and hard to hire bigger names under that cloud and timing.
Which one of those "pros" you named were making 5 million and 26, and under contract playing pro ball.....and gulp, scoring 8/9 per game? You kidding me? this is desperation headquarters.
I love LSU and hope we win every game. But the state of this situation under wade is an absolute shite show for now...he simply didn't make the big splash that you me and everyone thought his hiring would.
NO players followed him, and zero decided to stay.
And help me out...I believe Mc had some verbals to come, but they evaporated when wade was announced and Mc fired.....is that the case as well?
