there’s a very good chance they play 6+ home night games for the 8th time in the last 13 seasons.

Should be 13/13 seasons

LSU night games were a tradition long before TV. The other 15 can suck it
This! I'm 70 and was listening to LSU games on the radio by the campfire of my dad's hunting camp between the ages of 10-17.

Why don’t you kick us out of the conference, Clay?

They think their game against Oklahoma (currently ranked #24) deserved the primetime ABC slot over LSU-Aggy

LSU-A&M does numbers every year especially lately since it’s moved away from the last game of the season l.

It’s a big game for the networks and the conference. That’s why they forced it as a protected series on us. OU Georgia is an interesting game but it was never going to beat LSU-A&M for viewers priority.

At least they get their little cocktail party game with Florida.

Somebody should invite him to a september day game and see if he can survive 95 degree heat and 99% humidity at 2:30pm.

I understand the spirit of what you are getting at, but in true data it is never 95 degrees and 99%. That is a near physical impossibility.

I'm sure you are right. It just feels like that plus when people are being carted out for heat strokes around you, it's scary!

Correct.

We began playing at night in TS in 1931. It's a cherished LSU tradition. OTOH, UGA did play some night games in the 1940s but removed their lights in 1964 to allow for stadium expansion and did not add lights back until the '82 season.

Their preference for night games is a more recent development.

FTR, I have no axe to grind with UGA. We don't play them a lot and the series has been pretty even across history.

Don’t know why he’s so mad. Hell he will have time to drive home after the game and watch the tigers kick arse.

As my Grandmother always said, "Son, you have to give the people what they want."

LSU is iconic.

Take away the bulldog and Georgia isn't that big of a deal.
