Just need a vote of two-thirds to make it happen

This is idiotic by Sankey and Ole Miss (who is almost assuredly behind all this)

Their feelings got hurt and they cannot move on.

I know this is all legal blustering, but there's part of me that hopes they try to kick us out for **checks notes** not rostering any players who even sniffed an NFL field unlike **checks notes again** all the other teams who have added dozens of them.

I have to think the damages we'd end up with would be quite spectacular. We could fund our NIL budget for years!

Amazing that Ole Miss has this much stroke in the SEC...I guess since Bama is scared too, they are joining forces?

If they are calling a vote this quickly, then they already have the votes to pull it off and they know it.

For being such a small and irrelevant program, y’all sure do love acting like we have so much control in Birmingham to push this.

All the SEC votes are coordinated beforehand. This is a bluff

This is incredibly stupid.. LSU should call for a counter vote to remove Stankey and Ole Piss..

Which is just wild, Ole Miss is mad that LSU has players available that the SEC and NCAA deem ineligible but are onlyl able to play due to a court order while Ole Miss has...a player available that the SEC and NCAA deem ineligible but are onlyl able to play due to a court order

at this point, I think it has more to do with Sankey's bruised ego.

I'm sure he urged us to quietly back down and keep it out of the headlines....we instead said go frick yourself, you corrupt, impotent pussy....and he didn't like that apparently

So Lane keeps the “pro” players off the roster and Sankey still wants to expel them? He’s just butt hurt

Just texted my buddies this.

The SEC may have plenary authority but they owe a duty of good faith and fair dealing. This smells “arbitrary and capricious” that would result in the rest of members owing LSU big time. The SEC and Sankey have completely jumped the shark.

Let's say they do vote to kick out LSU. CAN THEY CANCEL THIS SEASON'S SEC GAMES?
