They won’t meet if they don’t have the votes,that would really embarrass the SEC.LSU is the talk of college football because of this and Saturday nights performance,let’s see how the espn execs feel about this.Love to be a fly on the wall when Sankey gets that call.

The lady Chancellor at Univ Tennessee is the instigator who contacted Sankey & started this whole thing. She told Sankey to hold this special meeting to expel LSU from SEC. She is also President of SEC's executive committee and hates/despises LSU.

They won't have it go into effect before the end of the season. LSU, the state of Louisiana, and every player on the team will sue the SEC into non-existence. If it goes through, you can bet the other P4 will be courting LSU hard.

The Alabama dude had college eligibility, decided to forego it and signed an NBA contract....and the SEC, while not happy, certainly never threatened to kick Bama out of the SEC, and ultimately, just followed the court order.
I'm no expert in law, but I wonder how that precedent the SEC set would play in this current situation.
