Lol, insider...

If it is freeze he could join the staff as an analyst for bowl prep so they could announce it before the bowl

I don't believe any of it. O = ride or die slinger

It’s going to be something completely underwhelming. It always is. Especially after a season when we may get a NY6 bowl

It is not safe to assume SE wants to be OC again
Posted on 11/26/18 at 11:16 pm to supatigah
I’d like to see E back at TE
Don’t see what Salisbury brings under any circumstance but im afraid it’s the best O can come up with.

At this point I don’t think Jesus Christ himself could make us a top 50 offense. No matter who the OC is we look awful compared to the rest of college football. Maybe les made a deal with the devil or Saban actually is the devil; either way I will never believe anything they say about how we’re finally going to open it up.
Isn’t it fricking crazy though? How could a program like LSU be so completely incapable of playing offense, every single goddamn year?? 2007 was awesome. fricking nothing good since, except that 2013 aberration which was only thanks to having enough NFL talent to overcome the curse (although still not scoring much against Bama, of course...all the NFL talent in the world will never score TDs against Bama if it’s in a LSU uniform).

All I want is to stop running out of the goddamn fricking shotgun and have the fricking quarterback go under center or run the fricking option once in a while

I suspect they will hire all the armchair coaches on the Rant as assistants...

What.. like maybe.. 96 percent done deal??
Seriously though. Let's offer D. Craig his old spot back for 1.3 mil, and then pull the offer after video surfaces that raises character concerns.

This is a decent point.. how much more stressful is being the OC vs being TE coach? Do we know that SE wants to stay on as OC?

I’m curious why you think that? Ensminger was on the staff when Orgeron hired Canada. Why in the world would you be convinced that Ensminger is Orgeron’s guy? Did he stand in Orgeron’s wedding?

I'm a remodeling professional...
We first design/plan/budget then build the project. Everything gets yanked and built new.
"Some" will be happy indicates a mere facelift...like a kitchen might get new countertops or appliances...
That's more of a update or lipstick, rather than a remodel.

What about Briles as co-oc as a transition year
That's what I was hoping for, but most likely it's Sullivan retires (as expected) with Salisbury in as QBC/CO-OC. With Max Johnson committing to LSU yesterday and the relationship between dad, Brad Johnson and Salisbury it makes sense.
My concern is that makes it more likely that SE remains OC past his 2019 contract expiration. I hope I'm completely wrong, but it's possible.

This. I really don't have a problem with Steve being back next year. After that though moving forward O needs to make a move. The offense will be better next year by quite a bit.
Max Johnson is huge. Bringing in Sean Salisbury means they're serious about QB development. I don't know why people can't see that.

how to fix the offense? hire an OC who has never been an OC before
have him learn the modern offense from an OC who utterly failed in implementing one
how could that go wrong?

Without a doubt

All Salisbury talks about is being an analyst.
