Same here. It's really frustrating to see how competitive Georgia (a team we beat by 20 points) was with Bama. Their offense was so much more effective. It's simply unacceptable how ineffective we are every year.

The Saints finally fixed their defense after cycling through a few coordinators and bringing in better players. Get a real OC. Let him choose his staff. E can work for the AD if the new OC doesn't want to keep him. I love E. He was the QB of LSU when I was in junior high, but he's not going to fix this thing.

This doesn’t happen anywhere. The OC can have input, but no Coordinator chooses his own staff.

I will be excited when LSU actually hires a bright offensive mind that has had success at the college level.

Sean Salisbury does not excite me whatsoever. What is his coaching background? I believe he runs some camps? I am genuinely asking because I don't know much about him from a coaching standpoint. All I know of him is his playing days and being an analyst all these years. Not sure that's a recipe for success at this level.

Why wait until after the bowl game? I could maybe understand for recruiting purposes, but thankfully we have the early signing period. Obviously if you wait you either have a deal in place or you aren't going after the highly sought out guys.

it depends on the OC and what the final goal is, but
usually MOST of the "votes" are not casted by the OC.

Georgia has a better offensive line than we do. Better running backs as well. UGA established that they can run the ball against Bama. Makes all the difference. Fromm was getting 3.5 to 4 seconds to throw. All flows from the line of scrimmage not the other way around.

So the offense LSU runs is E’s offense?

I’m not convinced.

There will be no significant change in our offense until we get a new head coach. We're back to the good ol boy system here again and Engelshitter will get to shite up the offense for as long as he wants. My guess, idiot Alleva extends the shrimp boat captain and we're stuck with him another 5 years. Enough time to watch every other SEC team get better while we sink like a led anchor due to our white boot gatah wrassler not doing the right things
