Catcher was lapping it up too at the :28s mark
And that was out #2 in the T9 and then . . .

We were at an Easter celebration at my parents with 4 or 5 of us watching that moment on someone’s phone. So I didn’t get a good look
In real time I thought it was a good call. Then the replay. Yeah, I don’t blame him for getting tossed there.

All three strikes during that at bat were low. Ump should’ve got throat punched.

And it wasn't just the bad call. The fact that it was delayed with the fricker having to think about it for two seconds made it even worse.

Tossing him basically as soon as he went out, such a weak bitch move
Kinda like the Coastal Carolina ejection. Umps have no accountability.

Kinda like the CC ejection...except for the direction the teams took afterwards.
CC lost control; the Tigers took control.

The pitcher is not being smug. He’s laughing his arse off at the incompetent ump behind the plate. He knew it was nowhere close to being a strike.

Is there any consequences to these officials for such a bad call.
I think that is the issue.

That ump should be demoted to the sun belt asap
What did the Sun Belt do to you, man? Don’t put that evil on them, either.

It is good to see some media accounts jump on how bad it was, through. That needs to happen more often.

His anger was real, so I don't think he "planned" this in any way. He was PISSED.

#25 Arvidson, same Vol pitcher that started the 8th inning in game 1 on Friday. Walked first 3 batters, relieved leaving bases loaded for Curiel's granny.
