The few things Kelly was supposed to bring were structure and organization

and last night we saw neither.

All summer all I read was “grown ups in charge now” lol could’ve fooled me as that team looked like they hadn’t practiced all august.

It’s good to talk all intelligently and what not but you sure as hell better put a good product on the field

That’s because you were listening to people who weren’t realists. Everybody was so busy pumping sunshine that they ignored some of the terrible hires he made. Kelly is a good coach. Whether he is an elite coach or not we will find out in the next 3-4 years.

He better be. We can't afford for him not to be. However this is the 1st game hes coached here. I think we need to pump the brakes a little

Blow it up and start over. One game is the benchmark for decision making.

Some of you dipsticks don’t even remember Saban losing to UAB. He turned out ok.

The Saban team that lost to UAB would kick Brian Kelly’s LSU team’s arse.

So would Miles’ first game team that lost to Tennessee. So would Ogre’s worst team. Curly Hallman’s team would put this team through a clinic.

That was a much different scenario where he was building LSU into the monster it became.

We still have top tier talent littered on this roster. That 2000 roster had an MLB bust at QB and little top shelf talent spread out

It looked like Coach O is still in charge.

The entire organization last night looked like a coach O team, and Kelly came in and replaced everyone from the top down except Brad Davis. That’s an issue.

There can be talent but it’s constructed horrifically

Should you consider reading this later, just to see if you’re being a bit dramatic?

On offense….outside of receiver what position do you think we have elite players? It aint qb, RB, or Oline. On defense, outside of Maason smith (out in the first quarter) and ojulari, who else is an elite player? Doesnt seem like the talent is as top shelf as some think.

Someone shouldn’t be able to come in as a true freshmen and be your starting LT day one and basically unchallenged in camp, that’s an issue

The RB position is in way worse shape than it ever should be here, how Ed and them were so bad there is puzzling

But hey a 5 star at WR….who doesn’t give a frick

Yes but we should still have been able to scheme a better use of it, especially on offense.

D is going to have major issues and we won't know if it's House or talent until next year I guess.

We are ranked 8th for current team talent.

Ill take or leave boutte at this point. If he doesnt change dramatically, he wont make a difference either way.
