not true or factual.

For a rebuilt Tiger squad I thought they did well. Florida State kept making plays on third downs. It was not for lack of trying or positioning. Their qb made some great low throws to his guys away from our dbs or lbs.

The offense was producing yards from the first drive to the last.

Ball placement by the qb was there in the right spots for most of the throws. The oline is our biggest concern and remains so.

We certainly missed having Emery at rb. Thanks NCAA

I’m admittedly surprised at Nabers. He seemed like someone who could catch the ball last year. Kinda reminds me of Early Doucet where he could catch the ball on offense, but all of a sudden show hands of grease on a punt return.

There’s more NFL players than most sure, but the overall build is still severely flawed and inexperienced…and you’re still breaking in a new staff/new systems on top of that

People spent months convincing themselves this could be a 10 win team despite most from the outside telling you 6-7 wins is likely the ceiling and are now pissed off because they had false expectations

He will fix it. It will take three years. He will sell you on the process and you will have. A good year... Then he has to start over because he will run off any coaches with talent that won't put up with his old boys network.
He will make you competitive in three year windows. Enough to keep a job and look good enough to national media yet piss off all the fans.

So glad Kelly is gone from ND.

Saying it’s under the sec or college average is simply wrong

LSU is starting division 2 transfers in the secondary. That is the literal definition of below SEC level talent.

Structure and organization also implies attention to detail. Team seemed out of sorts at times, clock management questionable, Boutte pouting? When you have 6 special teams F Ups in one game, that is inattention to detail. Team improvement growth rates are greatest between first and second game. Unfortunately our second game is not against P5 talent. Curious to see what improvement has been made when Leach comes to town.

Gtfoh pussy. If it makes you that whiney to read objective analysis about LSU football then find something else to do. Let the grownups talk football.

The defensive lineman that kicked our shite in all night last night came from Albany

And our secondary last night was by far the best part of our defense

Do you believe that the damage O did can be completely reversed in 9 months??

Have you tried changing the habits of 18-22 years old? It's damn near impossible, surely won't get done in 9 month.

This I will disagree with, especially on 3rd downs. Their receivers were mostly wide arse open

Nobody was expecting a title this year.

Our team running soft/vanilla schemes and looking like chickens with their heads cut off while doing it, was worrisome. Our STs were also a joke.

You can install modern college offenses in a month these days. Bama routinely cycles through new offenses without issue

I’ll repeat myself since you can’t refute it.

LSU is starting division 2 transfers in the secondary. That is the literal definition of below average SEC talent.

It’s 4 or 5 good defensive players, one of which went down early and appears to be out for the season, surrounded by a bunch of transfers and subpar SEC talent.

It’s a group of SEC caliber WRs with 1 good offensive linemen, who’s a true freshman, and a bunch of transfers and subpar SEC talent.

You can keep pretending this team is full of studs and bitch and moan every week, or you can realize this is a transition year that’s going to be used to rebuild the roster.

LSU doesn’t even have 85 scholarship players for fricks sake.

I can refute this because it's not true.

ULL and McNeese are not D2

Coaches have to prove they are adaptable or else they're a bigger concern than talent. Talent can be upgraded, but stubborn coaching is Les Miles shite.

LSU is starting transfers from 2nd rate LA schools in the secondary, but since I said division 2 the point doesn’t stand?

Anyone who’s reasonable knows the roster is in a bad place this year. We will see if that’s addressed over the next two years.

We will see if this staff can overcome the talent deficit with scheme and coaching, but last night didn’t look promising.

ETA: It’s possible to acknowledge that the coaching and game plan were bad AND that the roster is bottom 3 in the SEC. Crazy, I know.

This is the thing, you pour all of the issues into a bowl that need to be corrected in 8mo, and you have to start prioritizing certain things over others

- hiring coaches
-fixing the roster
-finishing a recruiting class
- evaluating players
- installing offense
- new S&C program

You practically have to overhaul everything. Some things will slip through cracks & will have to be tied together on the run.

He was playing against his peers. Are we under the impression that LSU’s offensive line is good?
