Dude is a true Tiger. It is very unlikely he is retained by who ever the next coach is. He’s done a great job this year in my opinion. He embodies what it means to be a Tiger. He also didn’t need to come to be the coach in our time of need for the position.

I do agree but so goes the world of coaching.

Financially, he’s obviously set, but now it begs the question of ‘Was it LSU only or does he really want to coach full time?’

The old saying is "A new broom sweeps clean." Unfortunate at times but understandable.

Hire an Offensive minded Head Coach (Josh Huepel) and keep the current Defensive Staff. Also keep Frank Wilson in some capacity.

This would be a great scenario imo!

He was the DC at Ruston before coming to LSU.

If Lane is as smart as some of you think he is, he will keep a legacy that gets him big uglies from I-20.

If he wants to continue in coaching then he got a year of SEC coaching experience out of the deal and if he just wants to remain at LSU then im sure they will find an analyst role for him

Kyle has enough $ to not worry about ever getting fired from any job
He wasn't a slam dunk to even take the LSU DL job, he had to be convinced because at this point in his life he wasn't even sure he wanted this type of grind with the hours they put in
