Saban quit because of NIL and Transfer Portal. You are never going to see a baseball program playing build a bear in the transfer portal every year be dominant consistently but that’s the reality of today. But in order to win national titles you have to rely heavily on it our play against those top players in Omaha. So you have two choices, rely a little on transfer portal and consistently be competitive by keeping guys in the program for 3 years, or go all in on the transfer portal and chase championships. We all bitch and moan when we don’t win titles so that is our game plan, go all in and chase titles. This is the by product of that, the harder you chase titles through the portal the harder the consequences are of having huge roster turnover every year.
The Meh pitchers need to concentrate on throwing strikes, keeping the ball down, and just don’t give up free bases.
Jay is the best coach in the country. College has turned into full roster turn over every year due to the portal. Some years you will hit, some you won’t. Imagine coaching in the MLB but every year you have to find a way to replace 2-3 starting pitchers and 5-6 bats in the lineup, that’s what you have right now. Due to this shite show the NCAA has everyone dealing with this is going to be the norm, and the better your team is one year the harder the potential fall will be due to roster turnover.
Where would the world be without the race warrior Ryan Clark
Yeah but playing devils advocate if someone not expected to go high is drafted way above their expected landing spot, if being a senior basically ruins your money for the next year why realistically even if LSU matched or slightly exceeded why would he really come back to school to get drafted higher and get paid under slot. It be foolish in reality.
Deep thought here but if seniors supposedly have zero leverage, then I don’t understand how it’s perceived juniors have so much leverage when if they don’t sign for the number offered and they return to school they are returning to school to in theory make even less money because they have zero leverage. So it’s almost like the system has created this leverage for juniors thing when in reality if the teams played hard ball with them who is really going to go back to school to make even less. Idk just a thought but just seems all crazy and if they add a 5th year of eligibility, makes shite even more crazy.
12 teams is already too many. They are determined to ruin college football to the point the NFL becomes a better product. fricking shame
The highest factor for betting odds is risk management for the book. It takes everything into consideration but spreading out the money so the book isn’t exposed is the main factor. That’s why the lines move for games, it isn’t because they think the other team got better over night it’s because they want you to put money on that team so there isn’t $20 million on one team and $100k on the other
You had to replace the best pitcher in college and a top 20 pitcher in college. You had to replace Ethan Frey, Jared Jones, Daniel Dickinson. Chase Shores went in 2nd round. Be like an MLB team losing 3 starting pitchers, and 4 players in their lineup after winning world series. It’s hard to replicate every year in college. Sucks that we are this bad but we lost a lot of talent despite what some want to claim
Not to mention if you recruit a high school QB and he isn’t the starter by year 2 he is transferring and you wasted all that time for nothing. These kids are soft as charmin and have zero dog in them anymore.
He was fighting with them because they sprayed him with beer when his back was turned. He then found the first person laughing and punched them. That’s what started all this was him getting sprayed with beer for wearing an LSU jersey.
Let them have this small small battle victory we always win the war. I mean their trophy case is pretty fricking pitiful
So coaches good enough to win 2 titles but magically it’s coaching why they are bad? College is about the transfer portal in every sport. If you miss on talent it doesn’t matter how good of a coach you are some players just aren’t good enough to win a title. This team just isn’t as good. But every few years Jay is going to smash with the talent and they are going to win. Sit back and enjoy the ride pussies.
Let’s be honest she got the job because the AD is from Hammond, and probably a family friend. Everybody knows everybody in that Tangipahoa Parish

I’m confident you are a dumbass
No shite Sherlock I’m talking about it was against the rules to give some dumbass 17 year old $2.5 million to come play at a school.
Kind of like the Court should have had no authority to get involved with private individuals and the contracts they sign to play college football before NIL. No one was forcing anyone to play college football before but if you did you played for free at least by rule. Yet here we are and here is NIL
He literally had possibly the greatest recruiting class ever lined up to come to LSU when he was fired. We never got to see his full potential. He was on the rise not the decline when fired. You are wrong and you will see
Yep that’s shite defense with the inbound going out to a forced 3 point opportunity you just gotta stay in front. Garbage after all that to lose like that
Hell Yeah, I love LSU playing the bad guy role stealing coaches whenever we can. I’m here for it.
