Seriously...who is on our basketball team?

We are scheduled to have an exhibition game against McNeese St in 17 days and we still have only 4 players listed on the roster. Seems like we are cutting it a little tight.

we have a full team practicing if you believe the twitter rumors. So I guess we will see in 17 days if those are the guys we heard about over the summer or the Frat league all stars.

Nothing wrong with foreign players. Illinois and the big10 basketball programs are FULL of them.

It’s a full squad of players. Lots of length and shooting ability . Solid experienced guard play, capable of winning now . Stay tuned.

What kind of retarded question is that? No, we got all the players from one place. Every team gets players from wherever they can. Every team.
About half the team is from the transfer portal and half from foreign leagues.

Unfortunately, Wade's situation is very different from Kiffin's.
This year's basketball team will not have a quality roster. Any expectation that they will compete for the post-season this year is unreasonably optimistic (if we do, Wade should be national coach of the year). You are hiring Wade because you think he is a long-term winner, not for this year.
Additionally, Wade is as polarizing as Kiffin is to the rest of the league (though for different reasons.) The talking heads will let people forget Nate Oats played a former G-League player, but they will never let us forget Wade's "damn strong offer."
Now, I think Wade is a good hire. But, we are going to be the villains and for this reason, we're going to be hearing a lot from fans of other teams every game we lose (and there will be plenty, even if this team wins more than last year.)

I think you are wrong about roster quality. If the 2 guards from UCLA are eligible w/ the other transfers then it’s the best backcourt we’ve had in a decade.
And if Dessert and Nang and Ruzic, then you have a good front court as well

If he is under 25 he might be able to get a TRO, but I don't think he is.

This year's team could easily finish with a record as bad as McMahon's worst team. They could also finish as good as McMahon's best team. We really just don't know yet. But you are right that depth will probably be awful.
