The team was a basement dweller last year.
Even if have these dudes aren't eligible we will still be better than last year!

We will have one of the best starting 5 we've had since Wade was here last time. The issue will be depth.

We definitely have a better coach. The team listed right now on the LSU website might still win us more than 2 games in the SEC, but 4 players are gonna struggle to do that just from exhaustion.
But I do not expect, especially after the recent press conference, that this will be the case.

Is this you submitting for a name change? What difference does it make whether or not you are notified of who is on the roster today? As long as Will knows who is on the team that is all that matters. I’m grateful that it seems like we are actually running a tight ship. Normally every little detail gets leaked out.

You're probably kidding, but 13 of the 15 players are known, so our opponents can essentially prepare for that roster. However, there isn't a lot of long range scouting in basketball, so that's not a serious advantage, nor a believable reason. Besides, our first tough opponent is La Tech, and they'll have 6 days to prepare for the roster that played against New Orleans.
Wade claims he is protecting the players that aren't listed on the roster. If any of the unlisted 13 have legal coverage, I don't understand why it is in their interest to not be formally added to the roster. Would they or LSU be punished?
I think Wade is either having fun yanking our chain by not listing players on the roster that he really believes will be cleared, or he is lying about his confidence and buying time. Also, if they are really practicing, it doesn't seem hard for reporters to park themselves by the gym to confirm that, and then report on it, rather than everyone having to rely on unconfirmed sources. I don't simply take him at his word.
