Offensive Analysts

Posted by bengaltiger20 on 10/26/25 at 12:01 pm
Assuming the information coming out is accurate and there will be some offensive staffing changes. Do we have any quality analysts currently that could step into on-field roles?

Tim Rattan with quarterbacks in the interim? If Brad Davis is let go, could we move Alex Atkins to offensive line? Maybe an analyst that could take tight end duties rest of season?
I'm not making this statement as a knock on Underwood's potential upside. But, for this season it was a blessing in disguise that Michigan threw that bag at him. He would not have started over Nuss or even worse maybe Nuss doesn't stay if he signs with us. Also, we would not have had the dollars to go out and spread out our NIL and sign the amount of difference makers that we saw out on the field against Clemson.

Downfield blocking

Posted by bengaltiger20 on 9/16/24 at 7:10 am
Anyone else notice the hustle blocking downfield by the line and receivers all game? On that long Kamara run, Ruiz was busting his tail 70+ yards. Big man got more speed than I thought!
9-3 with our schedule would be a great season. Also, depending on how things play out across the country, I think that gets us into the playoff!

I’ve been calling for it all summer but it actually seems to be coming to fruition… o/u 750 yards?

I would set the o/u at 75 yards. Lots of guys that were out will get carries in season. He did look good and exciting for the future.

1A-Tyrann Mathieu
1B-Jacob Hester

You are definitely committable!

MBB roster question

Posted by bengaltiger20 on 4/19/23 at 11:48 am
Did any of these guys stay from '22-'23...Wilkinson, Reed or Ward?

Also, how many years eligibility does each transfer have left? Thanks in advance guys!

:geauxtigers:
I'm sure he will get to the Final 4 with one of all the schools in America that agree with you. Oh wait...there was only 1.

:geauxtigers:
The same guy that got us to the SEC Championship game in year 1 of a rebuild.

:geauxtigers:
Our starting QB will start unless he is injured. Nothing else will be different than the rest of the season when our starter was healthy. It works this way:
QB1
QB2
QB3

I’d rather keep Howard around

Makes sense. Say goodbye to the two guys we have seen actually play for the one that none of you have seen. :geauxtigers:
Last week this board was all about the #3 QB (Walker Howard)....so we are at least moving up the depth chart this week! :geauxtigers:

I'm glad we won, the Swamp is always a tough place to win. That said, I think it's a bit premature to go all in on either Kelly or Napier being great/terrible.

Your post makes too much sense for this group!

Rickie Collins

I don't know why I never checked Collins out before. I think it was the lack of attention maybe that the previous staff seemed to give him. Or maybe it was him being a Purdue recruit just suggested to me that he wasn't SEC material. I must say that I am very impressed with his HUDL tape. His tape is easily as impressive as the other top quarterbacks I have watched. (I'm no expert)

Hope he becomes a Tiger!! :geauxtigers:

re: LSU landed Tommy White!

I just watched some highlights on White. Wow! He has serious power to all fields. In his 3 HR game against Miami he hit all 3 bombs to right field. He will be exciting to watch. Plays with some serious energy!
